Fantastic hotel, staff friendly and helpful, clean, everything you need. Pool area beautiful and a easy short bus trip into old town

Excellent in every way, with the exception of one of their restaurants - Oliva Grill. 100% recommend staying at this hotel, just don’t go to that restaurant at all. The main buffet and external restaurants are better so it is easy to avoid. I have no idea why the quality doesn’t match the rest of the hotel

Cons: - there’s a bunch of tiny ants, even after we switched rooms. The cracks in between the walls need to be filled to prevent this. - there were spider webs in a room that was supposedly ready for guests. - they have about 4 pools but the temp for all of them were kind of the same, they didn’t turn the heater on for any of them which was unfortunate. - no jacuzzi Pros: - hotel is beautiful and pleasant experience to stay in (aside from the ants which was the main reason it didn’t get 5 stars) - the food is decently good, the breakfast buffet was my favourite. The dinner & breakfast buffet gives you many options to choose from like vegetarian, dairy, and dairy-free options. - the service of all the staffs I spoke to was always professional and happy to help. - patio is huge with lots of seating options

Lovely and luxurious hotel surrounded by the sounds of the sea. Helpful staff at every turn. Hotel buffet had many delicious options. While far from the city center, the bus route was easily navigable - stay here to get away from the city and enjoy the beauty of the coast!

The Valamar Argosy is the most chilled out hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable with a beautiful view and the facilities were excellent. Thank you so much!!

We were on our honeymoon and everything was great! Kind people, good food, perfect room with a view. Great spa at the hotel. And we loved Frida, the hotel cat!

We had a lovely stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were given a warm welcome when we checked in. Rooms were also clean and in good condition. We had no complaints, the hotel facilities were great!!

Excellent hotel, perfect surroundings and facilities. Great for visiting the Old Town with regular bus service outside the door. Wonderful break.

Booked because it was an adults only hotel. However there were small numbers of children there. Not against children but I wanted the peace and quiet which didn’t happen round the pool on some days. Other than that it was very nice. Externally the building is a bit tired the food was excellent throughout.

Hotel is located in a very beautiful and safe area. Friendly stuff. Very nice room with sea view. Gorgeous views from the pool area! Great food at the restaurant and huge breakfast buffet. Bus stop is right by the hotel and takes about 20min to get to the city.

Beautiful water views, fabulous buffet, shops around the corner, two infinity pools, great drinks - so relaxing, we've been there twice in 2 years, will go back!
