The Ac was leaking. It never worked during the night, although we told hotel reception they claimed it was fixed but it never was. The hotel is right near a club so blasting music until 2am, not ideal for children. Breakfast, lunch and dinner wasn't bad.

Stay was ok. Drinks are awful and disgracefully overpriced. You cant buy a glass of wine you have to buy a bottle

The stay was very good - we booked half board the choice for the buffet is crazy and so tasty. The menu changes every day and includes everything you can think of from juices to desserts to starters. The entertainment is really good - every evening there is a different show. The only downsides are you have to pay 2 dirhams to use the locker in the room which I’ve never seen in any other hotel and they don’t provide ‘free water’ during dinner which I feel is slightly inconsiderate. I would definitely recommend this hotel you will not be disappointed.

Staff at desk tried to overcharge city tax so that set the tone really. Room was booked for 5 however it was a room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Television did not work . Sent the engineer at 10pm and he couldn’t fix the issue. No TV during the whole stay. Lights in bathroom didn’t work so they sent someone to install new bulbs at 9pm. Can hear the traffic at night even with windows closed. Breakfast was decent but always crowded.

I would say there was positives and negatives for me and my families stay here at Argana hotel. Starting with some positives, I would say the location is excellent, local shops, cafes and off licence right next to the hotel as well as taxi and the beach was only around 7-10 min walk. We found our room which was a junior suit to be nice and spacious. We had the extended balcony which was nice, it allowed our children to run around although the view was obstructed by a tent so we could not see the pool for example. The lobby area had pretty decor. We had the all inclusive and found a variety of food choices although make sure you get there early. Some negatives for the hotel to take on baord and improve in. Number 1 is the cleanliness, especially the cutlery and glassware in the hotel restaurant was very poor. The plates and glasses that came back out after use was dirty, sometimes greasy. Many people would look at the glasses to pick the cleanest one. Towels were very worn down and had a funny smell to them and the bathrooms could do with a upgrade especially the toilet. Very noisy in the night because of the live music. We had little children with us. It goes on till 11pm and sometimes beyond. Balcony floor was very dirty, if you walked out without shoes then your feet would turn black instantly. If the hotel can drastically improve on our negatives, we would happily return to this hotel if we came back to Agadir.

Was a lovely hotel except for the fact the sliding window/doors on the rooms might aswell of been left open all night, for the noise outside just came straight thro...even in the quieter location roon we were moved into.

Had enough entertainment for family. Having the children play room for toddlers was great. The swimming area. Also having entertainment every night was a plus, as every night there was something different. Maybe the toddler swimming pool can be upgraded to a larger one. Was close to beach and restaurants. The buffet dinner was always so much to pick from.

Good location with lots of food places nearby. The carrefour is also a short distance away aswell as the shops. Beware when paying the local taxes as they tey to fob you off. We paid an extra £40 when this was noticed and we told the staff we were taken to management who then.tried to justify himself by giving us free massages in the hotel spa. Animation team good however very less females in the team at night time so my girls felt a little uneasy. Breakfast is usually crowded between 8.30 and 9.30am and isnt managed well you are left to look for a table yourself which is hard with kids as some people pull chairs to tables leaving no chairs at tables. Sometimes its very busy to the point where no cups or glasses are available.

This hotel offers a basic room with a pool. Food is varied but many dishes are very bland. The hotel pitches as an international standard but falls from this at many levels… We arrived with a family of 4. Our room was made up for 3 people so had to go and sort this. Not all pillows had pillowcases. We wanted to all sit on the balcony, but there were only 3 chairs… when we asked for another we were told that “it’s normal to have three” and we didn’t get one. The safe didn’t work. Room was small for a family. Beds were so hard that both my wife and I woke many times in the night to try to get comfortable. The nightclub next door is extremely noisy (and we are not very sensitive to noise) and finishes at 5am. Maids repeatedly took the towels away first thing in the morning, not replacing them until later and often we had to ask for the right number. Drinks at the bar are eyewateringly expensive, and they do not allow you to charge to the room nor to pay by card. International prices, but not international hotel standards. Food is varied but bland. Everywhere in Morocco you can get delicious fruit juice for breakfast… except here which was extremely disappointing. Shoddy service with a waiter demanding a tip on each sitting which made meals uncomfortable before we had finished. Pool area is nice and there were always enough sunbeds. Kids enjoyed the afternoon entertainment. The private beach area is a 15 min walk and was fine, but no ability to buy food/drinks there.

Great little stay with family and friends. I was apprehensive before travelling due to some reviews but fears were laid to rest early. I'll start with the reviews from others. The noise from the night club. Our room eas located right above the front of the club (room 4144) and could we hear it..yes! Did it stop me, my wife or 9 and 4 year old from sleeping no. The only occasion I feel this would be a problem is if you kept your patio doors open on an evening. Next, breakfast time. Was it busy whereby people were queuing for food and there was a shortage of cups/ glasses. Yes, which was mildly frustrating but a lot of the queues were for rhe fresh eggs/ omelettes being made or for coffees. However in a hotel that size it is fully expected especially during peak times of 8:30-10:30am. We normally went for breakfast around 7:30/ 8am and it was alot quieter! Onto the rest. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much to ask from checking in, room cleaning, table service to checking out. The food in the pool side restaurant was well priced (we only did bed and breakfast) and whilst the alcohol and soft drinks were pricier than bars on the promenade, it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The animation staff and activities for kids were brilliant and was a welcome restbite for parents during the day. The evening entertainment was mixed. Some were good others were so so. Overall a solid hotel that is currently modernising and renovating the rooms. Will be back!

Avoid this hotel! We checked out first thing the following morning after arrival because of multiple issues, even though we were booked for 5 days. The room was dirty, with a gross layer of dust/dirt on all flat surfaces. Goodbye any clean feet. There were hairs in the bathroom and the sink was blocked. The toilet was not even secured to the floor! Hotel Argana does not have air conditioning, Expedia have been made aware of this, however they are still advertising that it does. We were advised by multiple members of staff that the entire hotel does not have air con, simply heating only. Don’t let the control panel fool you, it will come up with an error code when trying to switch it on. The rooms are not soundproofed, you can hear everything going on outside, whether from the halls, to the rooms next door. The food leaves a lot to be desired, you can expect better from a cheap buffet giving you lukewarm food, barely passable as edible. We ended up just eating fruits for the 1 night we stayed. Breakfast the following morning was no better, with stale croissants and bread. This is not a 4 star hotel, how this rating was achieved is questionable. Avoid this hotel at all costs! We thought the negative reviews were just the anomalies, and chose to ignore. That was a mistake.
