If you are going to Iguazu, you MUST stay at Hotel das Cataratas. An amazing experience!

This is an amazing property that I highly recommend. It allows you access to the national park outside of normal hours is one of the most beautiful properties we've ever stayed at.

The property is a perfect location to enjoy the falls. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice property with vintage feel next to the falls. Easy access to the falls before the park opens to avoid the crowd including watching sunset. Many brids on the property. Good restuarant with loads of choices for breakfast and beautiful bar.

Staff is amazing, food is more than tasty. Breakfast is must have, many local options of nuts and fruits to try on. I had an amazing time and hope one day I can come back.

This hotel is pricey, indeed. But worthy. Service is great, optional tours are amazing. Even the free tours are very nice. Restaurant is not cheap, but food is unique and perfect. Breakfast is gorgeous. And last, the fact that you can enjoy the falls before and after park opening hours is priceless. We could enjoy night view and early morning view by ourselves! The full walkway was ours! If I have the chance to go back to Iguaçu, I will use this hotel again.

What a gem! This historic hotel complex is exceedingly well kept. This was the splurge at the end of our 3-week trip in South American...quite beautiful and luxurious! The staff was top notch. Perfect location for seeing Iguazu Falls National Park from the Brazil side. Wonderful view from the hotel tower. Walk across the street for a spectacular view and Park trail to stunning Devil's Throat area.
