My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Koro Sun Resort and absolutely loved Fiji — it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip! Overall, the experience was fabulous. We met incredible people, immersed ourselves in the culture, and loved how laid-back everything was. We wanted to share a pros and cons list for an honest review. **Pros:** - We loved kayaking to nearby islands! Renting the kayak and exploring beaches on our own was such a fun adventure. - We made amazing friends, both at the resort and in the surrounding villages. Everyone was so welcoming and felt like family by the end of our stay. Special shoutout to Salote, Philippe, the Sandbar restaurant staff, Manu, Silvi, and Caleb at the activities center — they were all so kind and made our experience even better! - Fiji itself is absolutely stunning. The crystal-clear water, the lush greenery, and the relaxing vibe made it feel like paradise. The resort amenities, like the pool and daily activities, were great additions. - The spa was incredible. I had one of the best massages ever, and we even got a complimentary second massage from Geeta (spa manager), who was so sweet for helping with a spa photoshoot. The rainforest setting made it extra special. A couples massage here is a must! - We stayed in the Lighthouse Villa and loved the privacy. It’s a bit removed from the main resort, which gave it a peaceful, secluded feel. The private pool and deck were amazing, and we loved the room’s layout with

The staff at this resort is top notch!!! We travel all over the world & cannot say enough about the employees. They make you feel warm/welcomed instantly & everyone remembers your name. Any time you have a request or question a staff member is instantly helping any way they can. Resort was cleanly & food was overall decent. We will definitely be visiting again.

Nice resort that offers a lot of activities every day. I liked walking around the property and discovering new things. They had an herbal walk and showed me all the medicinal plants that Fijians used instead of medication. The staff is really nice and accommodating. They also offer free shuttle from Savusavu and Labassa airport. The massage was also good.

The staff knew my name instantly, the kindness and service was top notch. I couldnt have had a nicer experience. The management to the grounds crew all said bula and were just happy and pleasant. The community in Savusavu is just friendly, helpful and made me feel like i was home. Bula Vinaka, see you next time!

We spent an incredible week at Edgewater villa, where the forest spa massage was a highlight, offering profound relaxation and natural healing. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the seafood restaurant, though only open twice a week, was a culinary delight. We had to book early to secure a spot, which was well worth it. The resort's expansive grounds, blending forest jungle with ocean views, were breathtaking. Evenings under the stars were magical, despite some internet connectivity issues during our stay, which seemed to be a rare occurrence.

We spent 6 days at this resort and had a lovely time. From the time they picked us up at the local airport until they dropped us off, the staff were amazing, extremely friendly and caring. We stayed on an Edgewater Bure and I would highly recommend that. You could go straight from your Bure down into the water. You can snorkel around your Bure and it is honestly as if you’re looking at a salt water aquarium filled with fish and other sea creatures. If you need to go into town, they will order a taxi for you for $20 which is very convenient. We did like that this resort had some sort of daily activity for the guests to do at no charge! For the paid activities, we did the waterfall, snorkeling at Turtle alley and the Market trip. I would recommend all of those 3. The manager checks up on you often to ensure everything is going ok which is helpful and nice of him. The resort has a very nice jungle feel to it on one side and a beach vibe on the other side! The only issues we encountered was the food which we found to be very inconsistent from day to day even if you ordered the same thing. It wasn’t bad, just inconsistent in taste, presentation and the way it was cooked. If you do get a chance to try their steak and seafood restaurant that’s open a couple days a week, you have to try the fillet mignon!!! The other issue was the lack of WiFi coverage. Overall, I rate it a 8 out of 10 and would definitely recommend this place if you want to disconnect from the world for a while.

Service was not good, took 2 days to just get a knife for our villa, staff didn’t do the best cleaning, we asked for help on how to work the safe, no one ever showed up. The staff were bringing other guests to our private villa to take pictures which scared my young niece as she was changing in her room and random people walked by her bedroom. Meal service is so slow, they don’t have the best chefs. The only thing that made things better is the refund we got for the awful service

My room was infested with roaches. Three days in a row i will see roaches in my bed sheets and bed head and restroom. I expressed this at the reception and management did nothing. Last night was scary as i saw two in my bed scrolling my feet when i woke up at 5:30 am and decided to leave the room. went to reception on PJs and they had me there for three hours in my PJs crying. The gust actually helped me. I ended up sleeping showering at another guest room (strangers). Guests who saw me at reception were concerned and helped me. The Hotel did nothing; just saying I am sorry did not solve the matter. Reception promised another room and i waited for three hours crying at reception with no room. Thanks to the other guests who helped me. Also, when the gusts helped me , the reception staff did not even care to help me with the luggage and i had to take all my belongings by myself and the other guests helped. Staff said that their hands were tight as management has the last say. Management was nowhere to be found. A Manager should always be on the floor in hotels for the safety of the guests. Unacceptable. manager, was never at the premise and obviously careless with the staff and guests.

Poorly maintained, swimming pool was dirty. Water slide wasn’t smooth enough to be slid on, my child was walking down on the slide to reach the pool. Staff are wonderful. The stay isn’t worth the price. The area around the resort is excellent with views.

The Edgewater Villa was beautiful, loved seeing the stars at night over the water! The bar/cafe along the water was delightful with little kitties running around - and good food and drinks! The dinner we signed up for was very delicious. The spa was incredible! My most favorite- I loved listening to the waterfall! Only two things I would say need improvement - 1) continental breakfast options, it was sufficient but not spectacular. The a la carte menu was just ok. 2) in the villa, the A/C unit upstairs is directly over the head of the head - dripping on your head or pillow! That was not pleasant. I would stay here again! Vinaka!

The place was awesome for someone who likes to relax and detach from the hassle and buzzes, however, my only concern is the safety of you walking around even at the front of the suit where my family stayed a coconut fruit was falling every day, I think each coconut tree, fruits should be removed for everybody safety. The rest were cool. Friendly staff and nice fresh food.
