Wonderful place

As always, great hotel with great staff. Always everyone is helpful, friendly and professional. As a family we feel safe and welcoming every time we go to this hotel.

I faced a problem during check in asking for birth certificates for my young children which are 9 and 7 years old My kids are so young so what is the need for age proof they stopped my check in asking me to login to egypt online portal to get the birth certificate which wasted my day or asking me to call hotels.com room service as i asked for additional water and blanket many times and never came !!!! The hotel’s facilities are good and one comment on animation team who makes games and shows not appropriate for children without any notice Overall nice stay enjoyed the AQUA and pool activities

A very nice, clean hotel-resort. Close to the beach and a bonus free waterpark with 50 slides. The internet covers the entire hotel plus the beach too, a little slow but OK. The food and drinks are OK. The staff speak mostly German, less English. Thanks for the nice vacation Jaz group. I'll see you again.

it was an amazing stay

This is a beautiful place It is spotlessly clean and in a great location It is also clearly a flagship resort for a large German travel agent, as evidenced by all of the certificates in their reception area; however this means that you will be greeted in German first for the entirety of your stay ... It became easier and less awkward to just reply in German. I would have rather they spoke Arabic at first Our stay was amazing - The room (superior, pool view) was on the ground floor, and as such had steps straight from the balcony area to the pool, which saved having to fight for sunbeds ... although there seemed to be plenty The short walk across the road and down the leafy lane to the beach was no bother at all, and the snorkelling at the coral just off the beach was awesome - we saw loads of colourful fish, and even a ray The place is idyllic The only gripe would be in the buffet restaurant - The staff are over attentive, and three times we had our table cleared when we were at the buffet (despite leaving drinks/bags/jackets etc) The food is a little unimaginative - again, the breakfast has a very German feel (which isn't much of an issue, I like cold cuts and bread) You can get some eggs cooked if you queue up, but this is Egypt, so don't expect any pork-related items And the drinks are laughably bad. From watery juice and beer, through to bizarre-tasting cocktails. G&T's were good apparently, but a whisky was undrinkable. Branded ones are available but v. dear

Great accommodation, really nice place but, having booked & paid through Expedia for a friend and her children to stay, she was informed upon arrival - following a 10 hour bus journey from Cairo- that she was ineligible to stay as she was an Egyptian passport holder, the booking cancelled and my credit card refunded. She was then offered alternative accommodation, at a more expensive tariff than Expedia ( disappointing but accepted) and enjoyed a pleasant stay. However, when I csntacted the hotel to settle the bill, my card having been refunded the cost of the original booking, I was told that they could not accept payment over the phone, a direct payment to the hotel’s bank not possible and I had to be there in person to pay by card. As a consequence my friend was put in the very awkward position of being forced to pay for a stay for which she had made no financial provision. All in all a very unsatisfactory end to what otherwise would have been a pleasant stay.

Our stay at Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort in Hurghada was simply wonderful, offering a perfect blend of comfort, entertainment, and natural beauty. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. The cleaning team did an amazing job, with special mention to Mohammed. The 24-hour reception front desk was super helpful, especially when we arrived late at night, and even thoughtfully provided us with boxed dinners which was greatly appreciated after long trip. Their prompt communication helped greatly to accomodate the airport transfer to our delayed flight. The all-inclusive food options were delicious. Additionally, we were provided with lunch boxes for our trips to Cairo and Luxor, which was very convenient. The hotel grounds are meticulously maintained, there are plenty of flowers and plants, making it a pleasure to stroll through. The two pool areas were very clean and not busy. The beach is a very short walk through a treed alley, and boasted beautiful sand and calm waters due to location in the bay. The water was very clear and of beautiful turquoise color. Right from the beach we were able to go snorkeling and see beatiful corals and an abundance of fish. In terms of entertainment, the hotel offered a variety of options to keep guests entertained throughout the day. From sports activities to engaging performers in the evening, there was always something exciting happening.

Every thing was well organised , the room was very comfortable and clean food was excellent, a good selection and not repeated every day, the staff were very intentive pool and gardens immaculate, and good entertainment in the evenings

The best hotel I been before for the past 10 years. Room cleaned a few times per day. Food is perfect 😋. Friendly staff. Big room. Close to the sea beach. Big swimming pool with warm water.

I travel a LOT and without doubt this is one of the most comfortable places I’ve stayed in many years, so much so I’ve extended my stay twice while being here. EVERY me ever if the team goes above and beyond to make you feel truly welcome. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and spotless clean. The gardens are manicured to perfection. The buffet is extensive and of great quality. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi in the rooms can be a nightmare and as a digital nomad trying to work while here that’s a big challenge. Overall I have absolutely no problem highly recommending this marvellous experience
