This was an overnight stop. The place was set in a very tranquil setting. Room very spacious with fluffy white bath robes.

Disappointing stay. Despite our having reserved two rooms well in advance of our stay, the hotel failed to provide us with adjoining rooms, (the rooms provided were actually on different floors). Having stayed at this hotel several times in the past, we had expected better service. No recognition of our being “returning guests” was expressed and staff members we encountered did not seem interested in providing an acceptable level of customer service. Rooms & some of the guest facilities were not well cleaned. Stained carpets in the room. Bad smell in the room, (“BO”?) and in some public spaces, (I.e. the hallways). Poor shower water pressure. Nice, large, comfy bed. Nice views from the room window. Quiet location with nice outdoor seating and well maintained gardens. OK for a one night stay. But quite far from everything. Nice breakfast service. Nice pool.

Very old run down hotel. The carpets were super old, although our room was clean. Certainly not a place of my choice, but probably because it was one of the only hotels in the vicinity.

Very convenient stop en route to Spain. Very comfortable room, good food served outside. When we had problems with our car the following day, hotel extremely helpful, let us keep our room until 2pm, and probably longer had we wished. When we missed lunch in the restaurant, they made us a sandwich. Would be a great place to stay longer to explore the area.

Restaurant food and staff very good, very mixed bag with reception staff , we stayed twice and First Lady was lovely, second not so helpful to start with but got better. Rooms in annexe need a facelift, a bit disappointing because you get shown photos of a lovely modern room on website, second time we stayed in annexe room, sofa bed was ridiculously uncomfortable, mattress on sofa bed much smaller and only about 2 inches thick!! Hotel is in a nice bastide town which you can walk into and has a nice indoor pool, but needs to brush up on a few things

The hotel is nestled on some very large and expansive grounds with lots of beautiful trees. Room was comfortable with nice TV and bathroom. Might seem a little small by American standards - except in larger cities like New York. Two nice pools to swim in, lots of parking. We didn't eat there so can't comment on that. Staff was very nice and quite ready to speak English if that's what you require. Just a very nice place if you want to step back in time a little and get away from the present.

Perfect surprise. Arrived at 2 am and key left on counter. Air was an issue but woke to amazing view and awesome French breakfast. Loved area and service and grounds. Room could be updated. Hidden gem at wonderful reasonable price.

Nice room but bathroom shower seal had gone and it had not been fixed. No chairs or table on balcony. Balcony had not been cleaned recently Superb location and setting. Watched hedgehogs on the lawn whilst dinning. Lovely views from restaurant

We needed a few days to ourselves and this place was perfect for it! Bazas is a small town, worth a look but not a lot to see (but the cathedral is a must!) which was fine with us as we were happy making use of the hotel's pool and spa facilities. The restaurant was delicious, staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Highly recommended.

Liked the hotel - very friendly staff and great service. Food was good and the rooms were pleasant with a balcony overlooking the outdoor pool in a 3 level annexe very close to the main building . These rooms were a generous size with a huge bed and a pull out double so easily accommodated 4 of us in one room and 3 in the other. Great shower in our room as well as a bath with shower over. About a 15 minute drive off the autoroute 30 miles south of Bordeaux so ideal stopping off point 450 miles from Roscoff. Bazas is a pleasant town with a beautiful cathedral square 10 minutes walk from the hotel with cafes and a Saturday market.
