When you staying in Spa hotel, first of all you thinking about relaxing massage you gonna get upon arrival. We were lucky to get in very fast, we both were unlucky with the service we got. Everybody is super polite and nice, but you you position yourself as Spa hotel with massage services-train your staff to do proper massage, both of us got something far away what calls massage. It’s one of one 10. First disappointment. Room was very his and specious, dated, but that’s fine. Water pressure could be better, maybe because shower was leaking? Front desk ladies very polite and helpful. Restaurant ladies all very helpful, for breakfast and dinner. Nice walking path. Would I go back, if I ever in that area? Probably, no.

We thought The Heritage would be good but it was far better than we were expecting. It was excellent in every way . We look forward to returning.

Hotel is a bit dated but very clean. Staff were extremely friendly but they were very under staffed so service was let down by that. The big disappointment was the food. Very expensive for poor quality food. Definitely need to change the menu or bring the food to a higher standard

Bought a trip as a gift and upgraded to a premium room. I had noticed beforehand that standard rooms seemed nicer but couldn't believe that was true. It is! Felt embarrassed when my mother in law visited our room having been told hers was the upgraded room.

The main issue was that the bedroom was incredibly hot and neither the aircon nor window could cool it. Couldn't sleep. The swimming pool is small and there is no steam room/sauna. Changing rooms were being renovated and not ideal. The quality of cocktails in the bar was awful in comparison to the high cost. Didn't get offered dessert after dinner in the bar but the staff were nice. The walk around the grounds could really do with signage.

We were returning to the Heritage after getting engaged here 4 years ago. They upgraded us to a suite which was a lovely surprise and the room was fantastic. Our only issue we discovered with the hotel was the lobby and adjoining areas, including where we had afternoon tea and dinner were all a bit cold. My wife had to keep her coat on in all rooms of the hotel and though I don't normally feel the cold, had to keep a jumper on at all times. The pool area could do with a revival also, it doesn't match with the quality of the hotel and having to walk outside to reach it isn't ideal.

Lovely rooms, great gym and good dinner

Top class hotel with the nicest staff and the best breakfast I’ve ever had. This hotel should be 5*. Definitely going back!

Never stayed here before. But we had a great time. It's a golfers' paradise and we don't play. Nevertheless we enjoyed everything abiout the place.

I booked a junior suite for the balcony as shown in online pictures, there was no balcony, so paid an extra £200 for a sofa, extremely disappointing. Large bed but the duvet didnt fit it and the duvet cover was torn. I left the key card in to run the fridge with medication in it, the cleaning staff removed it. Golf course outside the bedroom window and were cutting grass at 7am both mornings, its a big course could have went to the other end. The walk is hedged in the whole way round, see nothing, not even a view of the golf course. Didnt use the sauna etc as these were separate for male and female so couldn't go with my husband. Most staff attitudes were not what you would expect for this hotel, no care or consideration, younger staff and would appear they have had little training. Overall very disappointing and won't be returning.

The maintenance was poor at best for a RESORT PROPERTY.

Lovely hotel, staff were very helpful.. I would very much recommend this hotel. Especially the Spa Experience..
