The hotel is very good but make sure you get a room close to the lobby as the TV does not work when you are at the end of the building

Good. Spa treatment wasn’t the best but hey ho. Rooms are maintained well. Stayed here before and will stay again.

A little run down. Breakfast buffet poor and definitely not worth the money.

Lovely hotel very friendly staff especially lady on reception. Grandsons had a great round of golf only spoiled by heavy rain but can’t buy the weather.

Stayed one night to attend a funeral locally. The room was comfortable enough and breakfast was buffet style but fine. EV drivers should note that the charging provider has been rebranded as Roam and not EVC Plus on the signs. Download their app before you arrive as it’s 3G signal strength in the car park. Plenty of chargers though and more being installed which was great to see.

The reason I haven’t given higher rating is the condition and cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower sealant was discoloured with mould in parts and the extractor fan in the ceiling had dust hanging out of it

Nice overnight stay...comfortable room with comfy large bed. Bar shut at 9pm which was disapointing, Breakfast wasnt the best, but staff were friendly and polite.

An absolutely wonderful stay, nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. The location is stunning, easy to locate, parking a few metres from reception, ideal for couples or larger parties of golfers.

Warm welcome at check in and very efficient. Large comfortable room everything worked . Great staff. . Reasonable food promptly served . Rather noisy at night - mostly single men on golfing weekend so banging doors and boisterous noise after being in the bar!

Good stay and would come again. Food for vegetarians are limited.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights as a base for attending a wedding nearby. Starting with the positives, the hotel grounds are lovely, the pool looks inviting, the gym is well-equipped with everything you could need, and the staff are friendly — but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. I had booked a Super Deluxe room with breakfast for £334 for two nights. While the room was spacious, as shown in the photos, it was far from Super Deluxe. There were holes in the wall and ceiling, mould around the shower, a vent clogged with dust, a non-functional TV, a safe with a missing battery cover, a bathtub panel coming away, and several insects present in the room. I understand that being near a golf course may lead to the occasional insect, but the windows were closed on arrival. For a Super Deluxe room, the amenities were lacking — no bottled water (although water dispensers are available at end of some corridoors), no biscuits to accompany the coffee, and a real struggle to find a plug socket to charge your phone, with none located near the bed. Speaking of which, the bed consisted of two singles pushed together, leaving an uncomfortable gap in the middle. The lounge/bar area is extremely dated. One plug socket even appeared to have experienced a fire at some point. There was generic music playing through tinny, buzzing speakers. I ordered a coffee and a scone; while service was prompt, only the top half of the scone was edible — the bottom half was completely raw.

Could not fault this hotel, service was friendly and large room was very comfortable.

Lovely, large comfortable room. Good gym, decent equipment. Very nice breakfast. A little shocked at price of large glass of wine £18!!!!

Staff were very helpful. Receptionist let us swap rooms when allocated room was right next to lift & I was worried I wouldn’t sleep because of noise. One of the housekeeping staff ran my partner to the wedding venue we had been at the day before when he was unable to get a taxi
