We checked in at 7:00 PM on the 20th. The front desk staff who assisted us initially, was exceptionally helpful with room arrangements. However, we later realized we had booked one fewer room than needed. As the hotel was fully booked, one of our group had to stay at a neighboring hotel for the second night.He told us that as he had collected all the tax, if one of us did not stay in the other for the other days, the hotel could refund the tax to us when we checked out. All the others checked out on the 24th at 7:00 AM. Before departure, unfortunately, a different staff member handled our early checkout. Despite the hotel already having our credit card details on file, this employee insisted on manually copying all card information (including security codes) to process the refund, which felt *extremely unsafe*. I think after reading this message, the hotel should contact me again and refund the tax to me.

Great hotel to explore Lisbon from

Very clean - very quiet. Breakfast was ok - very quick service. It does lose a couple of marks for the smaller details… having to go to reception to ask for toilet roll, tissues not replaced. Air-con worked, but was not easy to use or understand (at least for me!)

The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive to our needs. Great location and easy to get around. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Highly recommend.

Whilst the property is outside central Lisbon, it is virtually next door to the Metro and a very short ride to the centre. Otherwise you can stroll down the wide avenue to central Lisbon with all the haute couture shops. Hotel very clean and well maintained. Staff welcoming. Great breakfasts. It is clear PortoBay hotels run a happy ship! I will have no hesitation in booking with PortoBay hotels again.

Staff was extremely friendly , and made you feel welcome, especially Cathi who we interacted with mostly during our stay. Although no ice machine, the bartender provided a bucket for us each night. It was close to many restaurants and cafes. Also close enough to the city but still a distance away from all the hustle and bustle.

Good location, service was great, very friendly and thoughtful staff. Pool area and sauna/steam was nice. Food in the restaurant was great.

Perfect location if you want to avoid the noise of the old town. 2 mins walk to Pombal metro station which is on 2 lines and 2 stops from the action. The pool may be small but it is open in winter (which many hotel pools aren’t) and is great for a dip after a busy day sightseeing.

Wonderful hotel. Staff were so friendly and welcoming It felt like coming home each evening. The room was beautiful, tidy, and had everything we needed. The area was very walkable to everything.

Loved the hotel. Everyone was exceptional and accommodating. Breakfast delicious and a variety of options to choose from. Central location with public transportation easily accessible. A+

The property itself was nice. The room alittle dated but the bed was comfortable. The room was too hot at night and we couldn’t adjust temperature. Hop n Hop was a 5 min walk. A few restaurants in the area and a McDonalds on the corner. The staff was very professional and nice.
