My room was nice and clean and had a wonderful view

Great location and close to everything. The breakfast buffet is absolutely fantastic.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. Disappointing that car parking was not free for hotel guests. We were told by reception that it would cost 250 nok for 24 hours, but we were in fact charged 322 nok for far less than 24 hours. It can work out quite expensive if staying for a few days.

Amazing stay, very good location near shops and restaurants, staff very helpful and the room especially was large with seating area and balcony.

Nice location and hotel that is recently been remodeled, but preserving a 1960’s Scandinavian vibe. Even some great pieces of mid century modern Scandinavian furniture in the lobby lounge. Comfortable beds and room and nice shower. One of the best breakfast buffets we have had in our 3-week Norway trip. Short walk to the harbor and also the pedestrian shopping street with a good choice of restaurants and shops. Worth paying the extra for the ocean view for both the view, and also reduces the early morning noise from the container port next door.

This is a terrific hotel, right on the water, making it easy to get on a cruise. Amazing breakfast with so many food options. Beautiful dining room. Spacious rooms and lovely views. I would stay again in this hotel!

It’s a great place to stay, close to the port and walking distance to bus/train stations. Breakfast was fantastic, area is relaxing and very quiet. Will stay again.

Stayed in the ocean view suite in the older section of the hotel. Items listed in the room description not in the room ( i.e. safe, phone). Breakfast was good but very busy with families, arrive early. Bed was comfortable.

The rooms need an update. Not all lights were working.

We chose a room with a veranda - and it was perfect. Plenty of room and a small sitting room too. Breakfast was a help-yourself-feast. We didn't manage to secure a booking for dinner on the first night so cannot comment on the food as we ate with family after that, There are, however, lots and lots of really good fish restaurants only minutes away and several fast food places too. The harbour is a delight to walk around and is almost on the doorstep. Loved the staff, the hotel and its central location.

The breakfast buffet was the best we had in all of southern Norway! We stayed at 7 different hotels during our visit to Norway, loving all our breakfast buffets at all locations. However, this place took it a notch up!
