On the hotel website it specifically states for a superior room that there is adjustable air conditioning and in the details it states there is individually controlled air conditioning. This is not the case and we were told by staff and maintenance that the hotel is on winter setting which meant the room would not go below 24 degrees. It is recommended that a room temperature is between 15.6-20 degrees Celsius for the most comfortable sleep, 24 was too hot. A portable fan and an AC unit was provided however both were too noisy and the AC unit blew out hot air at the back and needed the balcony door open to function. For security and noise we were not able to sleep with the balcony door open through the night. Really not good enough considering the wording on the room description on hotels.com and the hotel website.

It is a very nice welcoming hotel and I enjoyed my stay tremendously. I upgraded my room and the breakfast deal . Absolutely no complaints and I would return again . The staff are all exceptionally great.

The hotel is very nice, spacious rooms and great condition. The service was also gr at and reception was very helpful with any queries. The indoor swimming pool is a great feature and the family enjoyed it fully. Little things such as having shampoo in the room could be improved and the construction works are not great if you wanna rest but apart from that all was great, would love to stay again

The staffs starting from one of the manager called Oliver aka James Bond was very helpful throughout especially organising my wife’s 50th birthday celebration. The receptionist too were professional, room was very okay and the restaurant/ kitchen staff were fantastically professional and ready to help any time you approach them. Overall I am a family now and will surely visit again and again.

The room that they first put me in was extremely loud due to the air conditioner outside. I also paid for an upgrade. The upgrade is only a balcony with no view what so ever. They moved us to a different room that was quiter which was good. But that room the toilet had a leak, which they came to fix it but left things on the floor when done. The hotel and outside hall smelled of sewage. The room also smelled of damp. It’s apart that the hotel was having sewage problems even after they fix our fan. You could smell sewage outside the room at times The breakfast was okay and did get old after a while. The coffee cups they give you are too small which forces people to have to line up and wait for more coffee. Dinner was worth the price and tasted good which lots of options. They did have issues keeping up with the drinks machine. I would not stay there again due my experience and this hotel is not close to the beach at all. You have to walk 20 minutes to the beach.

Very nice room for the price. Good buffet dinner and breakfast although breakfast was too busy to find a cleaned table. Great location. Too bad it rained and had to wait up to 3pm checkin to get room.

Lovely property in a lovely area. There are shops and restaurants locally and transport is very convenient and easily accessible. Staff were lovely and attentive. Food was good and there was a large range of items to suit everyone.

Hotel comfort was beyond expectations 5 stars all the way

Everything was nice

Personal very caring- hotel rather new. Small flies all over thé beds when we arrived- spa in dirty state- for a 4 stars, it doesnt feel well- we wanted to use the sauna at 21 and it was not funcioning. We hear everything from the rooms- people walking- moving the beds- music from the hall

It's terrible to arrive at hotel tired after all night and day travel then you find the claimed 4 star hotel is a damp unventilated dark room with no windows to day light and open air. What is more painful is you are let down by unhelpful Holetls.com customer service!!

Amazing hotel

This hotel is bang in the middle of the village of Mellieha Malta. From start to finish the staff couldn’t do enough to help you especially the Reception staff and mainly Kis she went above and beyond. Breakfast was good and plenty. We eat our evening meals a few times food was lovely and great value with all your drinks included. The restaurant could have been doing with extra hands x
