The rooms are very small. The en suite tiny, no room to go inside and then close the door. The decor and furniture is ridiculous….. an IKEA foot step for a bedside table?!? Please - that’s just stupid. A cardboard lamp shade like an upside down hospital vomit bowl…… zero style. On top of all the “comfort” issues, the WiFi did not work for 50% of my stay. This meant I was unable to work…. Zero understanding from the hotel, and no recompense offered. Do not book this hotel.

The property was excellent for arriving late at night at Paris Gare de L’Est. Facilities were very good and staff very helpful.

Breakfast was okay but the morning staff was terrible, nowhere to be seen. You had to wait several times before he turned up to assist you

Great location near trains. Noisy if you have a front facing room and they were to light, took over 10 minutes to get hot water .

Requested ground floor for easy access for mobility impaired guests but were given rooms on floor 5, lift very small so could not get luggage and chair plus assistant in, but our friends minded our luggage, but was a bit like chicken, fox and corn. Rooms were next to each other on a narrow corridor which was hard to get to in the chair. It was for 1 night so we managed but for a longer stay would have been a problem. Staff were friendly, rooms tidy and rate included breakfast so was good. Breakfast actually included more than just a croissant and a drink too. Handy location for gare de l'est or gare du Nord stations. Would I stay again? Possibly not. But thats because of my mobility issues.

We were overcharged beyond the typical city tax when we arrived at the property even though we paid in full via the Expedia app. When provided the invoice it was unclear as to what the additional payment was for.

Good location for a quick stay. Practical and affordable

For a budget hotel, we cant fault anything for our stay. Staff were friendly yet professional, Rooms clean and quiet. Very close to Gare d'lEst and Gare du Nord just 10mins walk away and metro entrance a few yards from the hotel. It was a good place to stay for easy access to all the Paris tourist places and if arriving from CDG airport or Eurostar. The area is a bit run down, we felt safe during the day, however at night we went to the Canal area for restaurants , but kept to the main roads late at night. Would stay here again.

The person at the counter was not friendly at all. He could not accommodate my almost years old daughter. In order to sleep 2 adults with 2 kids. I had to get another room at the counter. After 2 days when i was leaving, i asked the person to check out both rooms then another drama started that, I have not paid the taxes for one of the rooms. I opened the door and left the hotel. I will never ever will go back to this franchise hotel.

The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the hallway and the other rooms at night. Breakfast is very simple. The staff was nice and the rooms are clean.

Ibis hotels are usually good, only for this time the room that I stayed, had red ants in the bathroom when we entered the room late in the evening-after the whole day trip in Paris. The bathroom was clean no doubt but somehow there were ants, I called the reception, she immediately sent the lady to clean and the lady put the insects spray in the bathroom which ofcourse created smell and when I requested her to put some air freshner to minimise the smell of insect spray, she said she cant help further as they dont have air freshner. Apart from this lady who came to clean the insects, rest of the hotel stay was good even rest of the staff was good. Its just bit disappointment from Ibis this time, and hopefully they will take care of it. Best -R

Great hotel with good breakfast. Good location next to all main transport hubs

Frank the manager and the staff were very accommodating, nice, friendly and best of all speaks English. The hotel is steps away from Gare de L'est station which is very convenient as means of transportation to get around Paris. I highly recommend this hotel and tends to stay on our next visit to Paris.

Good hotel considering the price. Location ok but no hotel car park, it cost us €36 for a night car park close by.

Good staff and breakfast; small rooms and bathrooms for the price. The neighborhood was a little overwhelming at night. Many homeless and beggars out front as there were everywhere else

Super convenient to metro and Gare Du L’Est. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Lots of street noise st night.

I’m surprised how nice this hotel was. The staff was professional. The small room was comfortable to sleep. The breakfast was very tasty. There’s a metro station in front, nice restaurants as well and It is right across from Gare de l’lest.
