Shopping options were a lie, the room was always left dirty the room was a the size of a shoe box the toilet was blocked off and was super tiny the shower was super tiny and they wanted me to pay another 30 euros for a room upgrade which i was entitled to an upgrade I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Olivia Plaza Hotel was wonderful. It is conveniently located near most tourist attractions and in a safe and walkable area. The staff is great - very willing to help with anything needed. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We will definitely stay here again if we travel back to Barcelona!

You cannot beat the location of this hotel!! We were able to walk so much of Barcelona city center! The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful! I booked thinking they're was a rooftop bar but there wasn't. The hotel does have a very nice garden terrace just outside the restaurant which was nice.

Very good location. In the heat of the Ramblas. Price was high for one night. Room layout is different. The lighting system in the room is kind of inconvenient , there is no way to turn on the washroom light without having to turn on the entire room light. The sink in the middle of the room is kind of hard to use without wetting up the bedroom floor unless you pull the privacy door. Breakfast was a solid 2/10.

Hotel is situated in a fairly busy street. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by hotel staff. Checked in was a breeze. Particular kodos to the young porter Mohamed who helped with the luggage and made suggestion to a nearby restaurant within walking distance which served excellent breakfast. Our room was fairly spacious. Bathroom is uniquely looking, with sliding door closing the toilet and the shower. We did not eat at the hotel and thus cannot comment on its dining offerings. La Rambla street is virtually a block to the left as you walk out of the hotel. A hop-on hop-off bus station from the private bus company is right in front of the hotel. The blue-line station from the city-provided Barcelona Bus Turistic is just a block away across the street. A lot of restaurants and shopping are close by. In other words, the location is quite prime for a visit. But be aware that this part of Barcelona has busy and large streets and so the walk can be daunting and tiresome after awhile. We wanted to try out different eateries around this absolutely beautiful city and so had our meals outside of hotel and found that local food was excellent. Barcelona is vibrant with young, beautiful people. Will need taxi ride - which hotel staff helpfully and promptly arranged - to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and Park Guell, the two attractions that we visited. We wish that we could have stayed more than our 2-day stay and do highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely return ourselves.

Good experience. Location is unbeatable, just off La Rambla. Everything is in walking distance. Only criticism is the noise from other rooms. Could hear the foot traffic, doors opening/closing and even some conversations from other rooms.

The location was amazing and very close for airport shuttle. WiFi connection was really bad during our stays.

The perfect hotel to stay in Barcelona. Very convenient location with easy access to transport and attractions. Spacious and clean room with beautiful city view. Smooth check in\out, friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast is ok, it was good the first morning then they stopped putting the items that I liked the following days. They have an issue with their internet connection but in general, I highly recommend it and would definitely return!

Great location and extremely convenient to metro and the Ramblas. We enjoyed staying here especially tya5 the air conditioning worked so well in te Barcelona summer heat. Totally recommended!

Cleanliness, comfortable bed

The people and location of this boutique hotel were on point. This is located right in the busy part of town, so be ready for the fun of the crowd. Insider tip...the business center (2nd floor) has snacks all day, including champagne, sandwiches, pastries, and an espresso machine for free. Plus, they greet you with a glass of champagne at check in.
