Staff very friendly and eager to assist you. The beach is across the street. When we arrived at the hotel the rate was reduced.

We stayed at this hotel for one night to catch an early flight home. The distance to the airport was perfect. The rooms were newly renovated and nice & clean, good for an overnight stay. The pool is small but sufficient - clean with chairs w/umbrellas - no view but will keep the kids entertained. There is access to the beach across the street - chairs and umbrellas were $10 and $5 respectively but we found a shaded area way back with palm tree. The water was nice with fun waves. Some issues we had: the reception agent service was subpar. Slow and communication was not good. The area was very busy, ok for overnight stay but I would not chose this for long term stay. The street was loud, more for party crowd with 24hr bars. Overall the hotel is a great choice for anyone trying to catch an early flight out.

La morena and arepa spot near by has great food, hotties is a nice bar with much night life, easy beach access and generators for power outages. Parking lot for car rentals, extra charge per night but worth it if u want to drive to shops and other towns.

All the staff was amazing!

There was a club next to the hotel, which is packed with teenagers. Very limited dining options with most restaurants closing early before 10pm. ended up eating Burger King.

I liked the hotel and thought it was great for it being so close to the beach. However I did not like that there was hidden fees to pay once I arrived to the hotel. Expedia did a poor job in notifying people of the fees associated with the stay. Would love it if I also got complementary breakfast but it seemed like you had to pay for everything.

The rooms need to be updated. Damaged furniture, dingy rug, cheap flooring, dirty window, no lotion in the bathroom

I enjoyed my stay at TRYP! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! The area was also located right by many different restaurants and the beach was right across the street! The hotel also offered free towels to use at the beach or pool! Overall, I thought my stay was excellent and would definitely recommend it and hopefully get to stay there again in the future

The incidental charge of $300 is ridiculous plus an additional $150 in fees all due at check in. Not worth it for the limited amenities and only two restaurants. The staff was friendly and always helpful.

Las camas son de un tamaño demasiado pequeño. Me comuniqué a recepción solo para preguntar que yo había reservado (si un cuarto con dos camas queen o full); ya que la cama era demasiado pequeña. Para mi sorpresa la persona del front desk me contestó que él no sabía el tamaño de las camas, que no tenía acceso a ver mi reservación y que estaba ocupado con personas en recepción y no me podía atender. O sea, que esas personas a las que él estaba atendiendo en recepción eran más importantes que yo (no hay cliente más importante que otro, todos lo son). La manera adecuada debía ser “comprendo su preocupación, estaré verificando y me comunico en breve). El joven no tiene tacto para manejar público. Jamás me volvería a quedar en ese hotel. Una pena si tratan así a los turistas, porque la impresión que se llevaran de nosotros no será la mejor.

Wonderful place at a great price point

The property was short staffed, no towels at pool, and extremely noisy. We were put in a room next to the elevator and people were yelling, banging on doors, and kept up by the outdoor street noise. I spent a lot of money to stay and got no sleep. I would not choose this hotel again.

I had a Great stay for a long weekend. Some postives: great location, beach across the st, nice pool, room was clean and cozy, staff was nice.
