Hotel Novalis in Quimperlé - a perfectly decent stopover. Breakfast is very French (read: a baguette, a croissant, and coffee strong enough to wake the ancestors). The place isn’t exactly cutting-edge in terms of modern design - think "charm of the past" rather than "futuristic chic" - but the staff saved the day by speaking English. All in all, not bad if you like your mornings with carbs and caffeine.

We actually only went here for lunch so we didn't actually see the rooms. But the food was excellent and the lady that served was very nice. We actually just stumbled across whilst travelling and what a great stumble it was

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the bed was perfect, and the welcome was excellent. The only downside was the expensive breakfast compared to the limited selection. There were no scrambled eggs or cold cuts. However, fresh bread and croissants were available.
