Great Location, Super Nice people and Service.

Great location. Clean and lovely staff. Would stay here again

This was not a waterfront hotel and certainly not worth what we paid. The breakfast coffee tasted like mud. The toilet was almost touching the bidet head to head so a struggle to use the toilet. The shower looked awful and difficult to use and put me off using it. The rest of the hotel was nice but not our room. No supermarkets around to buy water. The hotel charges 4 euros for water. The proximity to the lake and train station was excellent.

Only there for one night and we were in a section of the hotel that seemed brand new. Very nice, clean and tidy and comfortable. We left early the next day so that's all I know.

The outstanding feature of our stay was the brilliant help and support of the staff, who helped us organise an airport bus when an unexpected train strike was on. We were so grateful and impressed.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay, the hotel is perfectly located, the staff are really friendly and helpful, we had a lake view room, could not fault it - would recommend.

A lot of noice Not very clean

Check in was fast, i wanted a meal and tge reception recommended a restaurant not far away which was excellent. Room was fine and breakfast was of a goid standard with a great choice. I would stay here again.

Well we are on a 6 week tour on our motorcycle and we chose our hotels as we go from place to place. We were in Brig Switzerland when we chose the Hotel Boston Stresa what a great find this was the place is really nicely decorated very clean and bright. The staff are very helpful and nothing seems to much trouble if you need something. The bedrooms are well appointed and of a good size with balconies. We didn't have breakfast here as we are retired and to be honest we don't normally get up until 9-30 ISH so we normally eat around 11am. The hotel has underground parking which for us was great as we are touring on our motorcycle it costs 8 euros a day and it's safe and secure. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the lake front of Maggiore and 10 mins walk into the main shopping and eating areas. You can get ferries to the islands on the lake and there are plenty of places to eat out lakeside. The hotel is also only 10 mins walk from the railway station and a Conad Supermarket so all in all this is a great place to stay.We will recommend this to our friends and family if they come to Italy. We had a great time here and would certainly stay here again if coming to Maggiore.

Lovely hotel. Staff lovely Great location. Would have spent longer

We stayed for 3 nights. The welcome was warm and the staff were very nice. The room was clean and spacious and we were fortunate to have a corner room with a view of the lake. Breakfast was good. However, for 2 of our 3 days there was no hot water in the bathroom so we couldn’t shower, the internet connection is intermittent and the hotel doesn’t provide an iron and ironing board (even via housekeeping). There are no yea-making facilities in the room so we couldn’t even boil a kettle for hot water in the sink. On each day were assured that the water was fixed shortly after we left to go out for the day (around 9-10am, so not late). The location is good if you don't want to pay the silly prices for lake-front property, but the issues with the basics let this hotel down quite badly. We weren’t offered a discount for the severe inconvenience.

Only problem that I experienced was the availability of tables for breakfast. Certain tables were reserved for no apparent reason and it was a struggle to find a table which was free to use.

Very friendly service. Easy to find and a short walk from the train station. Rooms are small but we had a balcony. Very nice shower and very nice breakfast. Wifi works well.

The room was fine for a night. The beds were comfortable enough, but the wifi did not work in the room. The air conditioning worked, which was nice because the windows do not have screens on them.

Good location set back one road from the lake where the hotels are 4 and 5 star. Ask for a room with a balcony and lake view. Breakfast is OK if nothing exciting and the wi fi didnt work in the bedroom. Comfortable 6 ft bed (two twins pushed together) Stresa is the perfect location for a stay at Lake Maggiore
