This hotel was fine for a couple of nights in Florence! It is located on the 'opposite' side of the train station from 'downtown' Florence, so it comes with a bit more walking than a hotel closer to all the action (less than 10 minutes from the train station).
The beds were surprisingly comfortable (best on our trip)!
Everything was fine, but the neighborhood doesn't have the same feel as those closer to 'centro' - not a lot of ambiance (no shopping and few restaurants). However, the price was much more reasonable than many hotels closer to centro, and the additional walk did not bother us (even in the heat of June).
We did not plan to spend much time at the hotel, so it was really just a place to sleep and then up and out for sightseeing! For this, it was great choice and I would stay there again if I was planning the same sort of trip in Florence!
