Our apartment was spacious and the staff were very helpful, particularly when advising of local restaurants. The location is very central but also quiet. The breakfast is amazing with a huge choice which varies daily and is beautifully presented.

Great hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be better and the views from the rooftop bar are superb. Will definitely stay here again when I next visit Bologna

Very nice accommodation in walking distance of Piazza Maggiore, Basilica of San Stefano and other places of interest. Close to shopping and restaurants. We opted for breakfast which was excellent.

Great hotel with an amazing breakfast. My kids loved trying a different pastry every morning for a week and I loved the cappuccinos.

Walls were thin but otherwise was fantastic!

Cute rooms with a little private terrace! Loved the modern lobby decor and the restaurant / breakfast was so beautifully displayed and very tasty. Very helpful and friendly staff. Neat little gem.

Really helpful staff

We stayed at the Savoia as the Metropolitan hotel is being upgraded. We loved the Savoia!

This hotel is centrally located and convenient to see all of the sites. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken and couldn't be used. Also, we only had views of other buildings from our apartment. Additionally, we stayed for five nights, and when we requested another bottle of water, we were told we'd have to pay 4 Euros. That was terribly disappointing.

The Hotel has no parking and doesn't provide a good option for the elderly or for people with a walking difficulty to get to it. Being positioned in the center (which was why we chose the place in the first place), in a ,very, restricted traffic area the hotel failed to offer some kind of help or transfer to the parking lot available in the area (the parking lot outside the restricted traffic zone). The result was an 82 year old lady ( my mom and I) dragging our luggage in the streets for about 800 meters. It may not seem a lot but I guess at a certain age you feel distance in a different way. Even if the stuff would have offered us someone to carry the luggage or the option of a taxi to and from the parking it would have been ok but as it was - I don't think I can whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

The main surprise was to discover that instead of the room in the hotel you are getting very poor maintained dirty appartments not even close to 4 stars hotel 200 meters away from the hotel with terrible noise all around 24 hours in the streets beneath. Please avoid this hotel . No parking , plastic glasses in the bathroom very cheap shampoo, no hotel flip-flops at all . Nothing is even close to 4 stars. Horrible price- benefit. Maybe the worse i ever met. And i travel a lot

Great room and walking distance to everything

We booked this because of the parking advertised. It is just a garage that you have to walk to and pay for separately. Also our room was very loud from both street noise and interior noise, you could hear people getting home until 3 am. Street lights shined in and there are no blackout curtains

The pictures don’t reflect the room and one of the reasons why we booked this hotel was the parking. The parking is not at the property. The bathroom was small and while the sheets were clean, the duvet would still pop out. The obviously don’t wash the duvet. Overall, not worth the price and definitely not somewhere I’d recommend. There are better places with the same price at better locations.
