I wouldn’t say there is anything walking distance front the hotel

We just needed it for 1 night and was perfectly fine. Nothiny fancy but it was clean. Bathtub could use a upgrade.

Liked pool and hot tub and breakfast

Loved the place and the staff

Pros: Value for the money, hotel 's clean, free hot breakfast. Cons: The AC is loud; The lady at check in is not very welcoming, no welcome greetings, no smile no eye contact she let me wait at the counter for almost 10min before attending to me(maybe she's having a bad night ) it could have been a 4 star if not for this lady.

I love staying at La Quinta. Especially since La Quinta is pet friendly. Thank You for accommodating our fur babies. The breakfast you serve is yummy.

Clean and affordable

Good experience overall. The pool and hot tub very dirty. Breakfast was a little lackluster. Staff was wonderful, very pleasant.

Very comfortable and amazing breakfast

I arrived and they had homeless sitting on the property along with people just sitting in their cars. I can deal with that but it's when I seen fleas on me and at the lobby fridge and outside the room and inside. I left before night even began. Stay away if you like clean. You might get more than you ask for.

Not the best experience but it was a short stay. Our room was not appropriately cleaned. The pullout bed was so thin and uncomfortable. The shower made this horrible high-pitched screeching noice every time we turned it on. The gym was not as advertised. No weights at all, just 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical. Breakfast was fine, bare minimum.

Very nice housekeeping Staff on third floor that day. Special thianks to you for being kind. Give them a raise.I like the room and I like the location on Merle Haggard Blvd. It’s a calm safe part of Bakersfield.

Cleanliness

Person at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Actual room smelled of strong orange air freshener … it eventually gave me a headache. Shower had absolutely no pressure - not enough to wash the soap out of my hair. Plenty of hot water - but water literally dripped out of shower head. Breakfast was limited as they did not put very much food out , had to ask for yogurt , bacon and eggs ..

Friendly staffs & cleanliness

Arrived late but receptionist was friendly and responsive. Very clean and quiet.

Room was good. Having the elevator directly across from the pool area is the greatest and safest idea. Twice I had to ask somebody to mop the floor of elevator because it was slippery
