Very nice and friendly

Neither liked or disliked

The beds were not very comfortable and there was a terrible smell in our bathroom the whole time. We come back once from sightseeing to find our door wide open with no cleaning staff anywhere in sight. Our door could be opened from the outside and this they resolved. I guess we got what we paid for.

Very noise. No insulation between rooms. Paid for a double bed but got given two singles upon arrival with no apology. Simply told "We're out of doubles". Not impressed.

Service member opened door unannounced soon after checkin ?

The information package in the room stated that the sheets were to be changed every 3 days. We stayed for 10 days and the sheets were never changed. We mentioned this repeatedly to the receptionist who said that she would inform Housekeeping but nothing ever happened. The same information package stated that the room was to be made up everyday but it was made up a grand total of twice in 10 days even though we put the "Please make up my room" sign on the door according to instructions in the information package. It was made up after the first 3 days and after repeatedly requesting it be done again several days later, they sent someone up immediately while we waited in the lobby. All they did was change the towels and make the bed without changing the sheets. The floor was never swept in 10 days. The trainee receptionist appeared to care about the situation while the other two couldn't care less. The staff at the restaurant were nice. The hotel itself has paper thin walls and the clientele seemed to think it was ok to laugh and shout in the hallways in the middle of the night. There was actually a party in the hall on New Year's Eve.

The hotel is 100% no frills breakfast,.... well basic good coffee nothing around without 20min walk. staff appeared stressed. short walk to good cheap transport link. Tv only news in english. Used as near local race circuit

This was my second stay in this hotel. It is pretty far away from the centre of the city. However, need to take trolleybus # 17 from Central Railway Station and you are in the hotel in less than half an hour. Pretty comfortable. The hotel old, but okay. Single bed is not the best, but pretty okay for the money you pay (I paid 20 euros for a night). The only disappointment were hairs in shower. Told receptionist, hope they will improve. I the price won't change, I will certainly come back in case of similar 1-2 day stay in Riga.

nice location in quiet neighborhood. close to public transit. 2 english tv stations, tv only turned on 50% of the time. wifi did not work in room, only in lobby. toilet paper never replenished. weak shower pressure. desk open 24/7, helped with late check in. staff overall welcoming.

Checked in in the evening, checked out early in the mornig. Bathroom was not the best. Cleanliness is average. Half an hour with the bus from downtown. Worth for the money paid though.

This is the best option if You have to check in late or just have to find where stay overnight. Cheap, good size room, clean. I'm coming back here over and over again because of late registration available. Only bad thing there is almost always somebody who wakes You up earlier than expected! )) As I heard this is like a home for foreigners workforce as there is an option to get a room with big discount for a month or so...

Nice hotel in a rural area, but with good access to the town centre

its was not bad when we had a breakfast a young lady she was so rude and not friendly and the rest was great people

i loved the place, only 10 bus stations from centre, bus nr 17 and not too far from bus in a quiet nice neigborhood. Free breakfast with many choice buffet. Clean big light room with fast free wifi inside. The bed was a bit bumpy, better in middle. The room was made every day. The servive good - missed more smile only. I would recomend, return if back to Riga. It also gives a different view then the centre, with restorant nearby that offered, weekday, a dinner with 3 euros 60 with soup, kefir drink, salad chicken filet and potatoes included. In the hotel, You can reserve dinner too - in advance - for 8 euros i was offered one so full and good too, i could hardly finish it. Pity, i could not find riga transport map, but one day i stopped in three different stations on the way to centre, all very different and interesting. As i stayed a whole week, some days were few present, other days full. Only Friday night some noise come from a celebrating party on one end of hotel. Great airconditionong too.

The overall experience is good. But it would be good if there is more choices for breakfast.

First time staying in this hotel, for the plus friendly helpful staff at check-in, room clean and tidy, good shower lots of hot water which is nice. Bad points seems a lot of children in that run riot in it during my stay as walls and doors are paper thin and complained about this but it didn't really improve and given it was 11pm I don't consider that to be too early to be complaining about the noise as I am sure I was not the only guest wanting sleep. Breakfast was poor I know its complementary but I gave it a miss after day 1 and just ate when I got to work instead as it wasn't worth the effort of having. The neighbourhood is a bit tired but seemed quiet however I could imagine if you were a lone female traveller you wouldn't like it. Handy for Trolley Bus to main areas of Riga and "Old Town" that was great.
