The pictures were deceiving when we booked. A lot of photo's of the other resort. Rooms are dated, they smell musty most likely from how humid it is so it's understandable that there isn't much they can do about that. There's no mini fridges in rooms. Buffet was just ok, the specialty restaurant you needed to book in advance to eat there. When I booked my room I booked a King bed, when I checked in they were trying to give me two double beds. I told them that is not what I booked, they upgraded me. Pools, and grounds were kept nice. The staff were always kind and friendly. My group stayed for 5 days from June 27th, 2025. They don't mention that there is two resorts and to get to the beach you have to walk across the road to the other resort which isn't a big problem but just know you are not oceanside at this resort. There is no wifi in the rooms. We had wifi in our room but we were on ground level and had a suite that lead out to the pools. Other members of our party had backside hotel rooms on second floors and they had no wifi. There is no elevators, so if you are up on 4th be prepared to carry your luggage up those stairs. Kids ran up and down the halls all hours of the night. Housekeeping was good, they always made sure everything was fresh and changed for us. Our group ended up getting sick, we don't know if it was from the food or water. So just be mindful. You get what you pay for with the price. It's not totally bad, but it's not a higher end resort.

I stayed at this hotel and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The room was excessively humid, which triggered my allergies severely. My throat was constantly itchy, and I had trouble sleeping due to the discomfort. The thermostat was broken, so I had no control over the temperature, and the phone in the room didn’t work either, making it extremely inconvenient to contact the front desk. I spoke to two general managers about the issues. Both assured me they would resolve the situation, but nothing was ever fixed. I asked to be moved to another room, but they denied my request, claiming the hotel was overbooked and no other rooms were available. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The lack of accountability, poor maintenance, and disregard for guest comfort were unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I upgraded to a king suite and they tried to give me a twin and blame Expedia. No info about the resort when checking in. 6 of the 7 of us all got very sick. Not sure if it was the pool or food. No recycling of anything. Not even in the rooms. The courtyard in the property was well maintained.

Same food every day, front desk rude and property very dirty

The property itself is pretty good for the price. The food options are limited for breakfast, lunch and dinner and many times the same food is offered at all three meals. The pools are decent. Staff is friendly. We did have a planned power outage however the hotel staff let us know ahead of time. The Tequila bar is boring however. If you are looking to party this is probably not the best place. For the Carouse restaurant which is reservation only, make sure you are there right at 7am to make the reservation. This is a decent experience, three course dinner however don’t get the later reservations because they run out of some dishes.

The rooms are super outdated. There is no rooms with Ocean views. You have to walk five minutes to the beach.

First off I have to say this review is going to be long. I came to the resort with my husband and two adult children. We stayed 7 nights and it was fantastic. Victor the front desk supervisor was kind and friendly and when we had an issue with our room he helped us get a new one. He made us feel comfortable and he was a wonderful kind man. Mauricio and Juan both work at the front desk and we're extremely helpful informative and all around just fantastic. We had two dinners at the reservation only restaurant where we met Carlos and Antonio. Talk about welcoming friendly people. We had great food, good conversation and they made us laugh. What a great experience. In the morning we had Raul often as our breakfast waiter, he was so helpful and kind, I don't think we could have been better taken care of anywhere else. In our first room we had Araceli as a house keeper and boy did she make our rooms comfy. In our second room we had Esther and she made sure I had all the coffee I needed and kept our room beautiful. We've been to Mexico multiple times and I have to say this is the best service we've ever had. The food all around was delicious the staff was amazing and the beach is right out the front door. The drinks were flowing and I highly recommend the bloody Marys at the pool bars. These guys know how to make you feel at home. We had massages and pedicures and a facial when we stayed also. If you want an amazing massage ask for Miss Linda or Angelica.

I had so much fun in this resort. Yes it can look alittle outdated the rooms. But that was the least of my worries .I had clean sheets and my room was always left tidy. Me and my husband had a blast. Great food and music and the staff excellent service. Close to the beach. And I felt safe and the resort had great atmosphere. I would come here again.

The staff was incredible! The property is a bit outdated however it was very clean and the amazing hospitality of the staff made up for everything. Very family friendly.

Stray cats peeing in the pool, wifi does not work in the rooms, overall a terrible experience. Do NOT trust this resort

Staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in the penthouse suite, but everything was very outdated and not very clean at all. Pillows were terrible and the bed was a back breaker.. the food at the buffet was pretty bad. Although the summit pool looked invitin.. the cons outweigh the pros. unfortunately we will never rebook at this resort again.

Room wasn’t what we expected, shower head was falling off, the doors to the patio did not open what so ever.
