Great location, comfy and cute rooms

First time staying at Tiger Lily and was very pleased with everything . All the staff were lovely and very helpful . Room large with good facilities and good air con which was needed . Will definitely again the next time I’m in Edinburgh.

The hotel is beautiful. Finding the reservation desk was a little tricky. It is not up front like you would expect. The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The floors were a little squeaky but then again it is a very old building. Hot chocolate, bottled water and biscuits cookies were also in the room. They did have a mini bar with drinks and snacks if you wanted to purchase. The hotel was a short walk from the train station in New Town and to walk back to Old Town was a 15 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again. Even the bar was amazing!!!

Huge, well appointed room with exceptionally comfortable bed. Had a lovely two night stay. What’s more, people we were catching up with who were staying in another hotel commented on how good the atmosphere was at Tigerlily, and how much more relaxed things felt being a bit set back in the New Town area.

Everything was top notch. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the room was gorgeous and spacious, the shower was poweful, the bed was comfy and the cocktails were lovely. First time staying here, not the last though. Thank you xx

Lively decor and very friendly and helpful staff.

The only thing I did not like was that we did not get clean towels daily. Also the bathroom configuration did not have enough counter space for two people’s dopp kits. Location was fantastic, food was great. I would stay there again. The staff was great too!

Great location

My husband and I had a fabulous time at the hotel. It has the best location for everything in Edinburgh. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops along George Street, Rose Street, St Andrew Square is just a few minutes walk and also Princess Street. The staff are very friendly, helpful and make you feel

Great location with good dining options,friendly service !

Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very tasty. Breakfast was a little disappointing, only things on offer were cooked breakfasts, no offer of any cereal, pastries, yoghurts or fruit. Toilets in the main part of the hotel/restaurant area weren’t the cleanest and in a little bit of disrepair. Overall a lovely stay though, nice hotel in a great location.

Front of house staff when we arrived were quite rude. The young lady who served us didn’t move off her seat to help with the bags we were leaving and had assured she would call when our room was ready but we arrived at 3.20 and it was ready?! As a first impression at a high standard expensive hotel (which I stay in a lot ) was definitely not appropriate to your level of service that should be provided. We weren’t made to feel particularly welcome. I won’t be rushing to return or recommend to others unfortunately.

This place is so cute and fun and the room was very nice. Loved everything about it.
