Nice hotel in a great location, room was up to date and generally quite clean, we did have an issue with noise but the staff were keen to sort this out for us, if passing through the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay.

This is the third time we have stayed here and will be booking it again for an upcoming visit to see family. It’s central and clean. The staff are really helpful. It’s a fun place to stay because every weekend there is live music and dancing in the courtyard, so a great atmosphere! Plenty of restaurants too. My only complaint which was an issue for me, was the fridge was broken and couldn’t be sorted as it was a Bank Holiday weekend and the hotel was at100% capacity. Regardless, we will return.

Great location as it is moments away from everything, the down side is on a Friday and Saturday night its not quiet. Clean enough but a bit pokey in the room itself. Staff were lovely and over all good, nothing special apart from the location.

A wonderfully repurposed school building which is now a warm and friendly hotel. My 3 night stay was excellent.All the staff were attentive and helpful throughout my time there. Buffet breakfast was first class too. I will definitely stay again.

Loved the reception staff nothing too much trouble. We arrived back from our show quite late so no food asked reception for room service but as can’t eat bread sandwiches were a nono for me but sandwiches were delivered for my partner and sandwich fillings for me absolutely delicious and complementary too. We will be back to see you again

Good location but hotel tired and dated no usb plugs in room lots of paint missing and generally in need of a update new carpets bedding etc

Decent price for the location

Hotel was very good, nice location, decent price. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast options were excellent and the bar times very convenient for winding down after a busy day. My only comment would be regarding the bathroom where I would suggest that all bathrooms are fitted with low profile shower trays rather than a shower inside a bath, which was the situation in my room. For older clientele this would be considered at best inconvenient and at worst, dangerous….unfortunately I’ll soon be thinking of myself in those terms :)
