What a unique hotel! Tall and narrow. Located on the river. Within walking distance of the many tourist sites. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable each morning in their breakfast room. Nice rooftop restaurant, reservations are needed. I would stay here again.

The staff was amazing at this charming hotel! So much to do nearby - we had a view of the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The location of this hotel is fantastic - a short walk to everything! The rooftop cafe was so nice!

Location is perfect for the traveler that likes to enjoy the night life. It’s a great location and close to everything but with that comes a little noise that eventually dies down late evening (we were on a lower level). The hotel staff were very helpful and quick to respond to questions or requests. Check in was easy! The bed is good if you prefer a firmer mattress. AC worked well.

A great location to see the sights in Florence. The room was perfect for the 2 of us and the staff was helpful, not only during out stay, but in helping us get an early transfer to the airport. Highly recommend

The beds pillows were terrible, very hard. Very noisy. Stuff couldn’t fix our safe.. would not recommend staying there.

The unusual decor was a relief from corporate chains. Location excellent. Staff really good- special mention for breakfast waitress, who had the peaceful breakfast room totally organised, and remembered my coffee preference after one day! Cool jazz in the background ......lovely.

It was wonderful from checking in, breakfast and dinner. The staff was so friendly and the air conditioning was a great factor also after waking miles every day.

The staff was great, and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel has an elevator to get to reception and rooms, but it's small.

The location was great, and the hotel had a lot of charm. My one complaint is the “rooftop garden”. Part of the reason I booked this hotel is because I was hoping my boyfriend and I would be able to enjoy a sunset from the rooftop garden. It’s not a rooftop garden at all. It’s a restaurant. You have to have reservations and you have to order something to spend time there, even if you are staying at the hotel. I feel like this was false advertising. I would not stay there again because of this.

Hotel was excellently located, short walk to major museums and attractions. Staff are friendly and courteous. Room was clean. Entrance is in a narrow alley not accessible to a Taxi van. Two flights of steps to elevator, reception is on 5th floor.

Great location to walk Firenze, cozy, clean and quiet. Highly recommended.

Room was perfect for a single guy who wasn't in the hotel except to sleep and work in the mornings. Breakfast was very good.

The Hermitage is an excellent property for location, customer service orientation of the staff, and a rooftop with superb views. The major drawback is the one small elevator for five floors of patrons.
