It was ideal for walking down into the Old Town. External lights shone in below blinds Standby lights were VERY bright one red and one blue There was intermittent ticking noise from heating/aircon control, which was off. In all, I got very little sleep. I have noticed that Campanile have deteriorated over the last few years and I will avoid in the future.

Poor service for evening meal. Disinterested, little choice didn’t bother to ask if wanted dessert or coffee

The hotel was easy to find and good value. There was very little milk for tea/coffee but the receptionist gave me more on request.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Just what’s needed for a good rest.

Brilliant overnighter

Comfortable bed, but very creaky. Only pizza for dinner. We weren't given bread or offered dessert or salads (others used a salad bar we didn't know of till later). Room heating didn't work; there was a portable heater in the room.

Overnight stop before continuing our journey to South west France destination.

Friendly staff great location

In transit to the south west and just 2hrs from the ferry at Dieppe. Ideal stopover place directly on route.

Hottest of days and all air conditioning was broken. Too hot to sleep

The original configuration room reserved (single double bed) was originally not available... the room provided was very stuffy and the AC not working. Being a ground floor, it required opening shades and door for a while to air it out, with a parking direct view. Then sleeping with windows open and the associated noise. Otherwise tight bed and clean bathroom.

Very disappointing. Air conditioning and wifi did not work and nobody around to help. Windows in our room did not open. Restaurant closed before its stated closing hours, although they did find us an indifferent meal of steak and beans. Staff unwelcoming.

Everything was good for our one night stay, we were just passing through.

Well the room was spacious but no real set of drawers. Could do with couple of chairs. The biggest problem was it was very noisy with other guests above us being very loud. More sound proofing between floors needed. Breakfast had a good choice. Television was ok but a couple of English channels would help.

The staff were excellent I left my passport there and they contacted me and we were able to pick it up on the journey back.
