The room was very clean and staff were really helpful with parking

Friendly reception and bar staff. No lift so if you have a bag and trouble with the stairs, be aware. Think they upgraded my room which was lovely especially as my daughter joined me for one night. We were in room 15 and on our first night, I have no idea what was going on in the room above, but the floorboards were squeaky and there was movement almost all night. I don't know if they were decorating or just had jet lag but it was awful.

Comfy clean nice brekkie

We were given a free room upgrade when we arrived, all the staff were very friendly, room very clean, breakfast very good. Hotel was in walking distance to the main street and the theatre we visited. On ly stayed one night but very pleased with everything.

Clean room, and sustainability. Staff were very nice as well. Strangely, the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Apart from that, overall good stay.

As always as pleasant stay, only my partner could attend and they were very helpful sorting it out.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, especially Scarlet. Breakfast is delicious and the accommodations were comfortable, clean and appealing. A great location to explore downtown Guildford from. We even walked there from train station (good way to get our steps in).

Check in was smooth, nice bar, hotel ideal location for us - there was no room In hotel car park but parked in public car park within a couple of mins walk - room was ok, selection of tea/coffee/toiletries etc however we were located on the bottom floor at the front of the original building - this meant we heard the people above us and everyone who got out of taxi’s etc late at night - in fact 1 lady took several attempts to close the taxi door and when she did she did it with such force it made our doors rattle!!! This was 2.44am!! If staying again I would ask for an upper room or one in the blocks out the back.

Soft furnishings in room needed a vacuuming, were full of lint and detritus.

Lovely room and amazing to have snacks

Stayed at this Hotel last year and its always been an excellent stay , excellent facilities, and lovely roomwhich was spotlessly clean.

Comfortable bed, clean rooms, friendly staff

Stayed over with a few other friends/family. Two of the rooms had a damp/drain smell which was unpleasant. Otherwise room was clean and well equipped. Close to shops etc.

Fantastic stay with great little touches like Morton Brown.
