Good hotel, clean and well maintained. Was expecting the room to be larger and more comfortable however the other benefits of the hotel make up for it. Spa is very good.

Beautiful old hotel. Fabulous staff. Amazing breakfast. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. My only complaint was sewer gas smell in bathroom. Otherwise I highly recommend. Thank you.

We had a very spacious comfortable room. The bath robes were quite nice as were the towels and the sheets. The bathroom was remodeled and it was very spacious. Could’ve used more shelves for toiletries, but that is often in the case in older European hotels. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very good.

This property had a great location, so that our meal at the outdoor restaurant was wonderful. We also enjoyed a nice spacious room.

Lovey grand hotel that has been nicely refitted in the central square. The outside terrace is great for drinks in the sun and the location is perfect to walk everywhere in Calmar.

The staff assisted us with our rental car, helping us pick up and drop off the rental over the weekend. Staff was great, let us enjoy our visit without worrying about the rental. Great customer service.

No real issues other than being a bit worn and few tv channels. Had usb plugs. Good buffet. Quiet. I do think that you dont have to stay right in the old town. Some of the cheaper options were in fine if not better neighborhoods. Not much to Kalmar.

This is a lovely property centrally located and an easy walking distance to the castle and shopping. The DR had delicious food just very slow kitchen and food not very hot. Lovely serving staff at both breakfast and dinner. Sauna in our room but it took a long time to heat up

Nice hotel in the centre of Kalmar. You can walk around and find many places to eat and several places to go shopping. It is quiet and has very helpful staff.

Great location. Close to domkyrka and läns museum. Bars. Restaurants and shops at walking distance. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great breakfast buffet. Only reason why it’s not excellent is because there was no spare toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to use the toilet downstairs at the checkout. Quite disappointing for the quality of the hotel.

wonderful staff. They were friendly and handled our requests very promptly and professionally. Also the catering staff were very friendly and prompt The breakfast is great with plenty of options. - The only thing on the rather negative side is the condition of the property and cleanliness. First we got a very small room on the corner, and the lady in the reception kindly changed us to a newer and a much bigger room. We expected the condition of the room and the furniture to be new. However, there was an old fun that produces so much noise. Also there was a stool with a big stain on it.
