Advertised as dog friendly however dogs are not allowed in the restaurant so no dinner or breakfast available unless you wanted to be put in a back room and told your dog mustn’t make any noise. Mildew in shower. No refill of milk or coffee unless room cleaning paid for.

We booked the hotel so that we could use the bar and restaurant for our evening meal. We arrived in the dark in the middle of a storm and was told we couldn't use the restaurant/bar as it was booked out for a group booking. They did not advise us of this even though I emailed them, prior to our arrival, to which they did not respond. They could offer us no alternatives for food, nor did they direct us to anywhere nearby. The room was dirty with stains on walls and skirting boards. The toilet bowl was dirty and the bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied. The central heating system didn't work but there was a very antiquated electric heater which we had to use. Breakfast, however, was very nice with lots of choice. There are lots of hotels in the vicinity so in future we will be using one of these.

Have used hotels in the Campanile chain before, and this one was well up to standard.. The room was clean comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful Would have no hesitation in using this hotel again

Check in was adventurous front desk was already closed at 9:30 my reservation number did not work on the self check in there was a kind person staying there that spoke French that help us with commutating with the operator breakfast was not anywhere close to what website has pictured gate stayed open first night second night it was closed didn’t work with combination of room had to call for assistance and again no wash clothes or hand towels and no ice machine what is the deal with no hotels in France having the basic immunities like in the States

Reception staff very helpful and changed our room to one nearer to the parking area. Room clean and recently refurbished. We eat in restaurant again staff helpful but service slow as the staff also had to deal with reception. Very noisy during the night , we think it was the security guards walking around talking and laughing on the hour through the night. Very basic amenities but adequate for stopover on our way home

Great stay at the campanile. Ideally located for deauville without being in amongst the hustle and bustle.

Mixed feelings about this hotel which is actually a motel. A/C was down for the whole hotel at the time of our stay. Pros: good value for the money, quiet neighborhood, free parking, good restaurant, friendly staff, clean inside and out. Cons: room and bathroom on a smaller side.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, however the hotel itself needs a bit of maintenance. Good enough for what we required though, would stay again as it is good value for money.

Very bad wifi,extremely cold since heater doesnt work(repaired and broken in3hrs).the only good thing is free parking

Real disappointment for a 3 star. Rooms smelled of smoke or were too hot to be able to sleep in. Air conditioning not working, as soon as you opened a window to breathe people poked their heads in as it was an open corridor. No privacy. Expect to be woken up early by delivery trucks after a night without sleep due to inconsiderately noisy guests coming in and out of their rooms.

Convenient location for Deauville and Trouville. Pleasant restaurant with selection of local and international dishes at reasonable prices.

Asked for non smoking & they gave us a room that smelt of smoke we complained & they offered us another room this was late at night then the other room at about 11 pm the door lock started buzzing so again they change us then when departing they tried to charge us for the 2 rooms for 2 nights the hotel we had to get a cab to get into deauville which was 18 euros was not over impressed with the hotel & would not stay there again

Stayed one night here ahead of a 08.15 ferry crossing the following morning from Caen to Portsmouth. Hotel is well located just outside the charming and affluent town of Deauville. Broad equivalent of a Travelodge / Premier Inn, so no frills but perfectly adequate for a one night stay. Our family of four all squeezed into one room. Only issue was attempting to check out at 06.15 on the Sunday morning - reception area all locked up and no-one around, so I sloped off not having paid my bar bill..... oh well...!

Within easy reach of the town centre and yet in a peaceful surrounding.

Staff at check-in were less than friendly. The rooms were tiny, the floor dirty and sandy. The beds hard.
