Cheap hotel with air con in the room and decent restaurant

Familiar with this hotel. It's calways pleasant with value for money

It was ok

The path that leads to the hotel is really not that obvious, I suggest that they put up a bigger sign to indicate its entrance. The room is small and the interior has an old look. The mattress is old and the back can feel the springs. The electric kettle is rusty, fortunately the front desk lady provided us a cleaner looking one. The rooms are badly soundproofed. The guests above arrived at midnight and the noice they made above our heads woke us up and lasted for half hour. And the next morning woke us up! The good thing is the location, just 5 minutes away from our destination Hautvillers, the berceau of the Champagne wine, where one finds good restaurants and wineries.

Typical Campanile hotel, you know what what you're getting - clean and comfortable and reasonable vfm. Room 37 had a slight odour of cigarette smoke but nothing overwhelming. Breakfast was very good, definitely recommended and service atvthe reception desk was very friendly both upon checking in and checking out.

During Covid, staff were careful and in good humour. Bed comfy but our first room smelled of cigarette smoke And the hairdryer didn’t work in the second room. Waiting staff were excellent and breakfast was good

The room was a little dated and in need of decorating but the on site restaurant was a bonus. Especially on a Sunday evening when most other local restaurants are closed. Very helpful staff.

Nothing special, but it got the job done

Reception at the hotel was quick and easy. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and had air conditioning, so it was comfortable to sleep. The location is very close to Epernay, with an easy, 5 minute, drive into the centre.

Everything one could expect from a budget priced hotel. King sized bed was a bonus. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room clean and comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of parking. Good restaurant. Free Wi-Fi. Excellent value for money

The lobby closes at 11:00 pm and nobody answers the phone, so we had to stay elsewhere and loose our paid reservations here.
