The property is very nice, comfortable and 24 hr gate security. No one can and will get past the entry gate if you are not a guest. Very quiet, clean and AC worked wonderfully 💯. The water went out a few times but this comes with the country happenings .. Staff very nice and helpful. You will need a car or UBER to move around. FYI driving in Costa Rica is a nightmare .. please consider your plans. I am a native but live in the US.. would definitely stay again .

The staff is super friendly. The premises are nice. Breakfast can use some variation. Stayed before, will stay again.

The property itself was beautiful with well-maintained landscaping and cultural murals. The staff were kind, easily approachable, and went above and beyond to accommodate. The rooms, while a bit dated, were highly- functional with the added benefit of a fully complete kitchen and stackable washer and dryer (which you have to supply the dish and laundry soap). The only downside was that the floors were quickly dirty and that the hot shower was rather lukewarm which I suspect is more cultural. Again, I would easily recommend this hotel and would readily return.

I enjoyed staying there the staff were friendly, helpful with information, clean environment. I appreciate the fact that they can communicate in English because I only know the basic in Spanish.My suite was cleaned daily. Very nice

Decent area. Older property. No restaurant or bar. Needs to be renovated.

The place was very dated. Kitchen had no cooking equipment, shower was weak and did not get very warm

This hotel is was a great experience. Very large and great for the price. Had a stove, refrigerator and washer/dryer. 2 separate bedrooms made our first night even more comfortable. Gated hotel for extra safety.

Tourist/buyer BEWARE You can do so much better than this hotel. "It ain't pretty it just looks that way." Plus much of the info on Expedia website in inaccurate. There's no mall or conference center attached to Casa Conde, and having been to the hotel, there's no way there ever was. Also, there's no shuttle bus of any kind, to and from the hotel: we also learned that the hard way. Their claim of cable tv in the rooms and down comforters on the beds, also totally false. While there was an "outdoor tub," it's by no means a "hot" tub. The hotel has no hot water in fact. They used a wide angle lens to take pics of the rooms: they are small and cramped. Just so depressing. These "positive" reviews must be either fake or from clients from 3rd world countries (forgive me.) Save your money and your good spirits, and book somewhere/ANYwhere else. * * * Turista / comprador CUIDADO Usted puede hacer mucho mejor que este hotel. "No es bonito, sólo lo parece". Además gran parte de la información en el sitio web de Expedia en inexacta. No hay centro comercial o centro de conferencias adjunto a Casa Conde, y habiendo estado en el hotel, no hay manera de que alguna vez hubo. Además, no hay servicio de autobús de ningún tipo, desde y hacia el hotel: también aprendimos que la manera difícil. Su afirmación de televisión por cable en las habitaciones y edredones de plumas en las camas, también totalmente falsa. Aunque había una "bañera al aire libre", no es en absoluto una bañera "caliente."
