The hotel was very accessible, it surrounded a lot of key things such as transportation, supermarket and local restaurants. The hotel has a spa along with swimming pools, sauna and steam room. The room I chose was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a fridge and kitchen net stations. Staff were friendly,helpful especially the manager I will look to return.

Huge bed, nice clean rooms. Staff excellent and went out of their way to be extra helpful. Didn't eat in the hotel, but breakfasts were good, if rather busy (which shows it is a popular hotel). Would go back there again.

The hotel was in a great position, the food was excellent, both breakfast, buffet or in the talk of the town restaurant. I would be really happy to stay again. I had really good nights sleep, the beds and pillows were so comfortable.

Property team were excellent. I stayed here for 7 nights and staff along with service is excellent. Front desk staff are excellent and friendly. It was overall a wonderful experience.

I stayed at the AX Hotel for 4 nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the staff greeted us warmly, making us feel instantly at home. My room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view of the Valletta skyline—an absolute treat to wake up to each morning. The breakfast was another highlight, featuring a variety of delicious Italian dishes that were fresh and flavorful. The hotel’s location near the heart of Sliema is perfect for sightseeing, as it’s close to many major Malta attractions, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Overall, the AX Palace Hotel offers excellent value for the cost, and the exceptional service makes you feel like part of the family. A special thanks to the reception staff for upgrading our room—it was such a kind gesture. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nice & relaxing stay. Easy to check in & the receptionist’s were all very sweet & helpful. I got a massage at the spa which was great & informative. I would love to stay there again!!

The Saungweme's from 🇬🇧 AX The Palace was a really good choice for our stay in Malta. We booked the junior suite; the room was spacious clean and had all the amenities you'd expect in a 5 * hotel. We looked forward to getting back to the relaxing comfort of our room each day after spending the day exploring Malta. The bed was very comfortable; we had a balcony that stretched the length of our room with sea facing views. There is a concierge service and car parking available at the hotel at a small fee. There are 4 restaurants in the hotel each offering a different cuisine from around the world. The buffet options in The Tabloid restaurant were amazing and catered for different palettes. The attention to detail and service by the staff; from dining through to house keeping was exceptional. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. Special mention to Front Office Manager Simba Mapfumo and Shivana, who added a personal touch to our stay making it even more special. They were knowledgeable and gave us some good tips and advise on places to visit. We will definitely be staying here again.

The staff members here were so welcoming and kind. This hotel is beautiful and went above and beyond my expectations. It’s located in a very convenient location as it’s a short walk from both the ferry, and a variety of shops and places to eat, while also being in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. I even received a certificate on my birthday for a free cocktail for both myself and my husband.

Fantastic hotel and service- we arrived without luggage and they were able to provide essentials like toothbrush for us. Great place would definitely like to stay again and would recommend. Roof top pool and bar is particularly nice.

Lovely room, good breakfast and great evening buffet with wine. Friendly and helpful staff. Especially the tall Indian/Pakistani waiter in the evening.

A big thanku to all the staff here who were more than helpful friendly and polite We had a wonderful 5day stay and so enjoyed being handy for catching ferry over and back to valleta at such a reasonable price! Our room was always tidy clean and beds well made x

The hotel was as we remembered from our visit two years ago. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast plentiful and delicious. The hotel is ideally situated for our needs in the hustle and bustle of Sliema, which we love, and perfectly located to visit Valetta and other places of interest on the island. The 7 day travelcard is very good value for money. We would definitely stay at the AX Palace Hotel again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking to holiday in Malta.

The propert was well located . Nice roof top pool area as well as adult only pool area. The room was very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was very big with separate water closet, separate shower as well as a bathtub. The restaurants were good and the breakfast was excellent. My only regret is our room was on back of building. I do not recommend it as there was no view from balcony. But that was probably more my fault when booking

I have been coming to The Palace for about 10yrs for work. This time the service was not the same: breakfast drinks almost non-existent, reception failed to make reservation for restaurant and overall standard helfullness of some of the staff was poor. Will probably look elsewhere for next year.

Great place to stay , staff were excellent- restaurants were great - fabulous location - we were very lucky to receive complimentary upgrade to a suite and that was truly wonderful
