An excellent old hotel in a great location.

Staff was helpful and available. The room was beautiful and loved the bath tub. Excellent location

This is a well located property in a city where hotel accommodation is expensive. The hotel is an old building, decently maintained. Our breakfast was excellent. I question if it is a four or a three star hotel however.

Lovely hotel full of character Staff were brilliant

This historic hotel is very close to the centre but on a quiet street. The rooms are themed and ours was a former horse stable on 2 levels (sitting area downstairs and bedroom and full bathroom upstairs). The stairs between the 2 floors were a bit steep but manageable. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast (hot and cold buffet) was very good. We chose to park our car in the hotel parking garage (the hotel gave us several parking options). We were given the parking garage address and good instructions on how to find it and access it. We’ve never used a parking garage car elevator lift so that was a bit stressful at first. No problem exiting the garage once we’d mastered the lift. This hotel is clean and in a good location for those wanting to stay in a place with historic charm.

What a lovely hotel in Bruges! The room was nice, the air conditioning heavenly after a full day outside and the breakfast was delicious. I also enjoyed reading in the courtyard, with the sound of the fountain- very relaxing!

Very relaxing hotel with great ambiance being surrounded by many period features. Our room at the top was very clean and tidy and worked very well. The breakfast was great with plenty of fruit, fresh orange juice and includes a cooked breakfast if you wanted. The gentleman looking after the breakfast supply was very attentive, thanks. The check in was easy and explained the special parking and where our room was very well. The Markt was only around 8-10 minutes walk at the most via the fish market. Thank you.

The staff was friendly. I enjoyed my room. They have screens on their windows to protect from mosquitoes and bugs!!!!! Which really made my life easier and I have noticed that a lot of hotels don’t do this. I would come back just for this comfort! 💖 But they also have great customer service. I have a lot of allergies, especially to pets and feathers. As a pet friendly hotel, I was nervous about staying here, but they went out of their way to make efforts to make sure I got an allergy free room. Which I believe they delivered on since my allergies are quite severe and I did not have any allergic reactions. I am very grateful for this accommodation. The hotel is in a great location. I enjoyed being close to everything and there are tons of great restaurants to try. Along with a grocery store right around the corner, which makes things very easy. Overall, I am very happy with my stay and feel this hotel is very communicative and cares about making sure you enjoy your stay.

A nice hotel but you can literally hear every hotel guest as if they were in your room.

We were given a room upgrade, it was very peaceful looking out onto the courtyard. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom and massive bed! The hotel was perfect for walking into the main city area. The staff were very helpful. My only minor criticism was the breakfast didn't open until 0800hrs and i needed an early start for business so we did not sample the breakfast. My fault really for not checking first. If we visit Bruges again we will definitely look to book this hotel

When I alerted the staff that my husband had some issues which made stairs difficult - they moved us to a ground floor room. It was deeply appreciated. And Jan Brito is a building and gardens with great personality.

The location is great for convenient access to sights, a parking garage, and a grocery store. The staff could have made our check-in process better by being more friendly, but perhaps they had a bad morning. The courtyard could use some TLC, but it was so cool to stay in such an old building so I understand. The hotel was great with communication both before and after our arrival and provided a discount card which saved us some Euros. Thanks! 😊

Great place and friendly staff.

The hotel is in an old manor, it is completely refurbished inside but kept some detailing that make it a fantastic and unique hotel. We absolutely loved it, the location is also perfect. We could walk everywhere we wanted and needed. The only thing was the parking, it is not on site, it is only a minute drive but you have to put the car in an elevator to get to your parking spot so that was a bit annoying but not the end of the world.
