We live in Canada. We brought our 3 children (11yo, 7yo & 2yo) down for an extended weekend in May. The water park inside the hotel is amazing! Always something to do for all 3 kids age ranges. Anytime we come to Grand Forks we will always stay here for the kids!

Didn’t expect it to be so large. Lots of dining selection. Clean. Waterpark was great. Room was large. Definitely will be back.

We enjoy our stay at Canad Inn everytime! Great service. They also accommodated for a crib for our infant on short notice.

The room/floor I stayed on was VERY noisy. Had people arguing in the hall way. The last night same thing and someone kept slamming their door against the stopper. Hardly any sleep. The server in the lounge area was not very cordial. Took about 20 mins to get our drinks then on 2nd drink order after waiting found out she hadnt even submitted the order. Will not be staying again.

No water park features available…no mention on your website that the water park was closed on Monday and Tuesday…we came with the grandkids just for that

We had a good time here. I wasn’t sure if my family would stay with me - so I got the king room. Turns out they all wanted to stay. So much fun! The hotel did not mind one bit that there was extra people. Awesome pet friendly spot. Likely the best pet property I’ve stayed at. Actually, everyone, my dog, and I ran into liked him. One thing is, get your pool passes at the front desk rather than the door. I believe I was discharged, but the expense wasn’t bad. I just didn’t know that it wasn’t included. They have a waterpark and part of it comes with the room and the other part is extra. I’m not sure how they monitor that but… overall, a very good experience. It is true that the hotel is dated, but it is comfortable, clean and fun for a family get together.

It was a fun family stay for the kids. The hotel was great, comfortable, no issues there. Friendly, helpful staff. The water park was fun but crazy busy and overcrowded to the point of having to wait a long time for tubes in the river and slides. Overall had a blast and enjoyed our stay!

Very nice place!

Liked the water park, the tavern was awesome/had amazing food. Aaltos breakfast food was Mediocre. Room was alright, the grip stickers in the tub were gross/stained looking and need to be replaced. There was no fitted sheets on either of our beds but a flat sheet covering the mattress protector. bathroom counter had a sticky food residue on it. Hotel amenities were decent, overall if I had to pick the same room again on another stay I would pick another hotel to STAY at but go here again for the entertainment, water park and possibly the tavern.

Waterpark is awesome. Perfect location for everything around. Overall very good experience

Staff kindly gave us early check-in so we could change into our swimsuits to enjoy the Waterpark. Surprise bonus was free breakfast at Aaltos which was excellent. Great stay at great place.

Love the dining and pool options

The family suite size wise was good. However, the air conditioner only worked sometimes and the room got humid and hot . The fan for the kid's room did work as well. The fan was covered in dust.

It is very run down. Loud. The chlorine in the hot tub was burning our eyes. Overall not with the money if you don’t want to use the waterpark.

We had a great timdle. Our family spent the day at Splashers. It was well kept and clean. The family hotel room was clean and comfortable. Definitely will be coming back.

Facility is great. Most staff was amazing. Disappointed that we called morning of check in to see if we could check in early. We were assured the rooms would be ready at 1pm for us, so we started our 2 hour drive. Got there and the rooms weren’t done till 3pm. That was disappointing and hard on our 4 year old and 2 year old who were so excited to be there. Also disappointing that not everything in the pool is open on Mondays and Tuesdays. We didn’t realize that. The kids were a little sad on Monday, but got over it quickly. I understand that it’s not busy on those days, so doesn’t make sense to have staff working the pool, but disappointing for children none the less. I would’ve ever book on a Monday or Tuesday again because of this.
