The hotel is spotlessly clean, well kept and tastefully decorated. We liked the size of it. Having a view of Etna from our balcony was a bonus! The nearby local bus terminus was very convenient. The walk down to the coast road was for us about 20 minutes, and there are plenty of good restaurants there. The hotel staff were professional, helpful and friendly at all times. The buffet breakfasts are good but our reason for dropping one star was the evening food. We had an evening meal on a Sunday that was really not good for a hotel of this standard. Such a shame. The local wines are very reasonably priced and very drinkable! Luca, the Restaurant manager is knowledgeable about them all.

Spent a great week here in April 2026. The staff (especially Claudia at reception and Neno at the bar/dining room) were so welcoming and friendly. The owner was there every day wandering around with a smile - keeping check on things and asking guests if everything was good. This is a relatively small hotel and all the better for it as it felt the staff were genuinely wanting to make your stay enjoyable. Spotlessly clean room every day. Great Easter meal on our first night with local specialties and breakfast was superb also (made all the better by Neno insisting on a ‘high five’ from our son every morning - which he loved!) Loads of great restaurants within a 5/10 minute walk. When we were there, the parking was free on the road outside - always a space - but I believe that at high season the parking on the road and in the car park apposite has to be paid for. We found Sicily quite grotty in places and the roads and driving was quite stressful- this hotel was always lovely to come HOME to.

Hotel villa Daphne is a totally amazing place to stay. It's almost like coming home ! Kano, Claudia, Nino, Francesco and the staff is so friendly, welcoming and nice, so it's like a second family. I highly recommend the hotel as a base for exploring the area The hotel and staff can only get all the best recommendations from us 🙏

From the moment my friend and I arrived, we were warmly welcomed with genuine smiles and a level of care that went far beyond our expectations. Both Fernando and Claudia consistently went out of their way to ensure our comfort, whether we were returning from long tours or simply needing assistance during our stay. Their attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism made us feel completely at home. Nothing ever felt like too much to ask—they truly did everything they could to accommodate our needs with grace and warmth. The hotel is also perfectly located, with supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, and the bus terminal all within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was not just good—it was heartfelt and exceptional.
