Beautiful hotel with all you could need on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are roomy with huge, comfortable beds and come equipped with iron, board and hairdryer which was a bonus. We had a lake view ground floor room and it was perfect for a romantic weekend away in the sunshine

Very nice lakeside resort hotel. Great atmosphere, well kept property, good size room, excellent breakfast. Make sure you book a room with a view over the lake. Would have given 5 stars but for (a) the prices in the bars/restaurants, definitely pricey and (b) the quality/choices in the restaurants - would have expected better at these prices.

When we arrived, we were told that they did not hold a booking for us, as Expedia had cancelled our booking!!. It took over 4 hours for the hotel, myself and a guy from Expedia in the USA to semi resolve the issue. The hotel were wonderful, Expedia were blatant liars as they told the hotel that they had informed us of the cancellation, and had booked us into another hotel. Shame on you Expedia!! As the hotel had restricted accommodation left for our visit, we had to rearrange via Expedia to stay in another hotel for part of our stay. Unlikely to be using Expedia again which is very unfortunate as we have used them on numerous occasions over the years.

Friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms.

Hotel is good with larger than average room overlooking one of the many lakes with a shared outside space, bathroom needed a little overhaul as did the soap dispensers, breakfast was 3 star. Very full car parks with disabled spaces filled with no blue badge displayed ☹️ Not really impressed for the price

No wifi in the room and no signal

Beautiful surroundings, able to walk freely enjoying the scenery. The property itself was lovely apart from a few mishaps inside the room for staff to consider. Part of the panelling that separated the dining area and living room space was a constant trip hazard, this was extremely dangerous, also the living room radiator was continually on making staying in the room extremely uncomfortable with to much heat. Apart from that the living quarters were good.

Brilliant!! We had a lovely time staying here with my family on our Easter Holiday. Breakfast was nice and fresh. The outdoor park was also a bonus for my young child to play. Good location to go to Cotsworld and Legoland Windsors.

The only criticism we had was that there needed to be a better placed grab rail over the bath, the rail provided would be great to get out of the bath but was too low to be of use as support if you have a shower. But well done for supplying an anti slip mat for the bath. Other than that we had a lovely time.

Nice spacious and comfortable room, bathroom a bit aged....bath plug wouldn't seal and dispensers didn't really work (fortunately able to extract bottles to tip directly from). We were in the area to explore Roman history at Chedworth and Cirencester, and to cycle and run in the water park area. Proved to be an ideal base, plenty of room to park our motorhome (we stayed in the hotel but ate in the van in the evening, although enjoyed the comprehensive breakfast in the morning with great views of the lake).

Hotel is looking tired..

Poor cleanliness of the room unclean room and bathroom lots of dog hair everywhere then got told ground floor for dog owners was never given an option to not stay there as an asthmatic struggled to breath all evening. Room wasnt clean and everythibg was tired or damaged heating controls were poor.

Breakfast spread was very good. All staff very friendly. Housekeeping service very poor in the hotel rooms, was completed in a rush, left dirty towels etc behind. On another day did not come at all to clean the room and lacked top up of basics such as toilet rolls etc.

I liked having the lake so close, being able to look out from the room and see a swan swimming around! Also, a pleasant big room and comfortable bed. We enjoyed a tasty meal in the Boat House, which was not too noisy in the evening. I liked the indoor pool.

Fast check in. Very comfy bed with squishy pillows. Like a giant hug! Excellent choice at breakfast. Sadly just a one night stay for a family party nearby. Only niggle point was that bin in bathroom had not been emptied from previous occupants otherwise excellent stay.

Very decent hotel and a lovely breakfast. Didn’t sleep well as found blood on the sheet as I got into bed but it was late so didn’t have time to get it changed. I just don’t see how it could have happened. Hotel said they would look into it but I didn’t get any outcome (not sure if I should but it would seem to me to be good practice to follow up such a situation with the guest once it had been investigated). Staff were very friendly.
