Avelina at breakfast was always a higlight of our day. Her customer service is excellent. Kenia at the spa was very professional and friendly. She did an excellent job on my husband's manicure. The hotel and surrounding area were beautiful with a multitude of options for entertainment throughout the day. The only disappointment of our trip was the food. My husband is a cooperate chef and I am very into food and cooking. Saying that we understand the concept of food costing and profitablity, but this doesn't make up for getting cold or overcooked and bland food. We would have also have appreciated the option to have nicer quality liquor. Overall we had a good time.

They had different types of restaurants you can choose to eat from and unlimited everything!! The only thing is if you drink beer they only serve Dos Equis but they do a lot of mix drinks.

Great place, all inclusive, many restaurants to choose from, great breakfast, okay lunches, multiple pools. If you do not like loud music and parties, ask not to be in buildings around the Riu party plaza, it is very loud. They have day parties tues thur Friday and nite parties on wed and Saturday, if your below 55 they are great parties. Not much beach action here because the tides are very big, but overall this is a great place.

My family enjoyed an amazing Spring Break at the RIU Santa Fe! The resort has a mix of age groups and there is something for everyone. Dining options were great. We will return!

The property was very clean. The bathroom shower was leaking water which made the bathroom floor wet. The dining options outside of the buffet are limited and not very good. We tried at Sakura which had a wait time of 40 mins but the food was very bad. We mostly stuck to the buffet after that. We did not bother to try other restaurants onsite after Sakura.

This hotel was good overall. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was in pristine condition when we got there and there is unlimited alcohol in the room and all around the property. Their pools are pretty crowded throughout the day. The only negative thing I need to say is that their food is really bad at the buffet and even at their restaurants. There are flies all over the food at all times. Most of their food is definitely not edible.

This resort is filled with lots and lots of families and older couples - which makes it feel more safe in my opinion. Especially traveling as two young girls. Additionally, I’d say for a 5 star hotel the food was okay. The steakhouse restaurant is pretty disappointing to say the least, we both got the 12oz steak but it was more like 5oz considering the fact that it was so fatty and chewy. The Asian restaurant is alright but not worth going to more than once. The best places for food would have to be the Mexican restaurant, which is at the back part of the steakhouse so don’t get it confused by going to the actual steakhouse. The American buffet had lots of options and plenty of different kinds of food. Good for snacking, fruits, pastries and desserts. TIKI TACOS!!! Amazing! Also be prepared to lug around your suit cases as there were no elevators. Only in some of the villas, we stayed in villa 1 on the 3rd floor with no elevators so that was a downside for sure. There are also no blankets provided with your stay, just a very thin sheet, no duvet. I’d suggest requesting more blankets as it can get very chilly at night. And there are tax fees upon arrival, per person per night. Also when checking out be prepared to bring your towel cards back as they will charge you if you do not (they also never mentioned this when checking in so we were quite surprised). Other than that it was a pretty good stay overall, the parties are definitely worth visiting!!
