This resort is filled with lots and lots of families and older couples - which makes it feel more safe in my opinion. Especially traveling as two young girls. Additionally, I’d say for a 5 star hotel the food was okay. The steakhouse restaurant is pretty disappointing to say the least, we both got the 12oz steak but it was more like 5oz considering the fact that it was so fatty and chewy. The Asian restaurant is alright but not worth going to more than once. The best places for food would have to be the Mexican restaurant, which is at the back part of the steakhouse so don’t get it confused by going to the actual steakhouse. The American buffet had lots of options and plenty of different kinds of food. Good for snacking, fruits, pastries and desserts. TIKI TACOS!!! Amazing! Also be prepared to lug around your suit cases as there were no elevators. Only in some of the villas, we stayed in villa 1 on the 3rd floor with no elevators so that was a downside for sure. There are also no blankets provided with your stay, just a very thin sheet, no duvet. I’d suggest requesting more blankets as it can get very chilly at night. And there are tax fees upon arrival, per person per night. Also when checking out be prepared to bring your towel cards back as they will charge you if you do not (they also never mentioned this when checking in so we were quite surprised). Other than that it was a pretty good stay overall, the parties are definitely worth visiting!!
