Location is quite good. If you have a car, you can get to everything you want to see quite easily. Be aware that reserving a parking space at the hotel costs 10EU a day! Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, so no problem in finding somewhere to eat. BTW the hotel restaurant was closed throughout our stay, so don't rely on being able to eat there. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a little English so it's not too difficult to communicate with them. Everything is clean but a little dated and sometimes dingy (e.g. the showers). Beds have thin mattresses but are OK. There is a fridge in each room which is brilliant for storing your own cold drinks. There's a supermarket across the road where you can pick up drinks, snacks and other essentials. Breakfast is a fairly traditional Italian fare. It's fairly good, especially because it's free and there's a reasonable amount of choice. Although advertised as having AC, this is absolutely terrible. If you suffer from the heat - as my whole family does - the rooms are very uncomfortable. Sleeping is almost impossible with the noisy and ineffective AC. We had to change room because it simply didn't work. We found the AC was awful in the supposedly better room too. Bring your own travel fan or be prepared to be sweaty for your whole stay. I would definitely not stay there again because of the AC issue. If you don't mind that, it's pretty good value and makes a good base for exploring Palermo.

It was a very bare bones old hotel with a great deal of wear and tear in the rooms. It's deep in the residential area and limited dining options until after 730p

This was probably a great hotel in the '70s, but has very little updates. However, the staff was great and the space was functional. If you are use to an contemporary hotel this place is not for you.. however if you are use to a b & b with added privacy then it might be a good fit. The shower is very small the bed was lumped and hard, the balcony was minuscule and the kitchen was lacking. With that said, this is a great hotel for price and service.

A busy hotel with friendly staff. Our room consisted of a lounge, bedroom and en-suite bathroom. A refrigerator was located in the lounge and came in useful to keep liquids and produce from the nearby supermarket fresh. There was adequate space for all our clothes and accessories. The shower was in good working order. The breakfast buffet was the usual choice of fruit, juices, cereals, cheese, cured meats, croissants, yogurts, etc., which kept us going for a few hours.

Once you get past the slightly tired decor, the bottom line is that the rooms are perfectly adequate, and for the price, great value for money The Staff are excellent, Salvo at the desk was particularly helpful/ and cheerful, and nothing was too much trouble. I was a bit concerned , having read some of the other moany complaints, but I need not have been. Good location , quiet hotel, great value for money.

Good hotel for the price, bit of a walk into town but there is a bus which seemed to be quite frequent. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Our family of four stayed here for one night after going to renew passports at the American consulate in Palermo. The family room was a good size with a queen size bed, plus two other single beds converted from sofas and a table that seated four in the middle of the room. There was a small balcony and a typically sized European bathroom (small shower). The hotel was withing walking distance of the consulate and had free, secure parking - the biggest advantage. The service was nice, with English spoken by almost everyone. Breakfast was decent - a typical European mix of pastries, cereals, meats, and cheeses. Coffee and juice was included, but espresso was not. The restaurant also served dinner which was good and reasonably priced. Overall, a nice place to spend a night while in Palermo for business.

The good: Easy walking distance to US consulate. The family room was large, clean, and perfect for a single night stay. Quiet location! Breakfast was standard continental, nothing fancy, but adequate. Parking was provided free of charge. Free loaner umbrella (thanks!). We didn't eat at the restaurant as there are plenty of choices in walking distance. The not so good: Nothing in Palermo is easy to find with the maze of one way streets, but we managed. Though plenty of cabinet/closet space, some of the cabinet doors needed repairing. Older, small TV, not sure if it worked. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, and met our one night needs. Would sty there again.

Room had everything we needed despite the hotel being quite dated. Service staff at breakfast were very friendly. There is a parking charge that we were unaware of.

Questo albergo ha assoluta necessità di essere ristrutturato, ad iniziare dai bagni. Non sono rimasto per niente soddisfatto. Salvo solo il personale a cui va il massimo dei voti per la loro disponibilità e gentilezza.
