Yes i know this is a self entry hotel but the digital service was terrible, entrance had to press the outside button many time to let me in, which thank goodnes there is that option.The first day could not get a door key, something was stuck in it but did have to get one another day which was a good thing i did because the digital phone key also quit working for my bedroom and had to use the physical card for the last 3 days. My lite in the ceiling blinks and i told them, i do not think it was fixed as it still did it for the next 4 days, there has to be a short in that lite socket, i hope it is not a signal of a fire alert. I was able to connect with cleaning ladies to get extra sugar for my tea and another toilet roll but they did not understand english. It is very nosy on a busy street so no sleep, is close to mall and old town and the water front and library.

Great place! The interface between paying in a browser and then also having to download the app and manage part of the stay through that needs some work as it was a bit confusing. A few steps to actually get it done but I guess that is the price for a self-check-in hotel.

The room itself was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfy, although there was only one size (we would have preferred a larger bed but made due). More cons than pros though. The biggest downside was not knowing that literally the entire plaza shut down for Easter, something we were not aware of at all, despite having already visited two other cities in Norway with everything still open. We would have appreciated for the staff to give travelers a heads up since they have no amenities, additional towels or toiletries, and their FAQs state that guests can purchase what they need at nearby stores - which were all closed. That includes the pharmacies, which was awful because half our travel party got sick with the flu and we had nowhere to get meds despite walking around for a couple hours. When I emailed the staff about the major inconvenience, they essentially told me it's on the guests to know all the major holidays and closures. We stayed for three nights in this condition so it was not an enjoyable experience at all. Unfortunate, really.

Entry system was well made and intuitive, with detailed but not too often prompting in advance of the stay. Position in the town centre was excellent. Lobby and room were all well kept and clean and sound barely travelled from room to room, which either meant not too many people or its well sound proofed. Bathroom was fine and shower was nice and hot. Bed was comfortable too, no aches the next day which is common with a poor bed and pillow. Curtains were not fully hooked on and the thermostat was hanging off the wall behind the tv, plus the kettle needed to be plugged in on the bedside table, so a little more general care is required, but would stay there again for the convenience.

Central location, close to many restaurants and the harbor. Walk to the central station.

The place started out frustrating because the Vander App did not unlock the door BUT! Luckily the kiosk downstairs worked just fine. Once we were checked in everything was great and centrally located. Thanks for a great stay.

Great location. Everything is done electronically with your phone. Never saw a person that worked at the hotel. As long as you have app downloaded onto your phone, easy check in and check out, and access to hotel and room.

Convenient

Loved the location of this property. We had a junior suite. It was of good size, newly decorated with taste, and came with a small, equipped kitchenette. Initial check-in required downloading an app and instructions that were not too clear. However, once one is able to get through the front door, the self check in machine worked rather well. All in all, we enjoyed our two short stays.

Es uno de esos hoteles que pretende eliminar la recepción para abaratar costos. Ya no estamos en pandemia. Yo prefiero que me atienda un recepcionista, tuve que pedir un taxi que me recogiera a las 4 de la mañana, no tuve ayuda y me las vi brava. Prefiero pagar más pero ir donde me atiendan mejor.

Hallways and entrance smells like an old basement. Very moldy smelling. Self service hotel where you check in on a screen on the wall. No one except guest around. Raises questions about security and who to talk to with an issue with the room. Room seems newly renovated and ok.

Veldig bra plassering og opphold

Veldig fint rom. Stort, stilrent og behagelig. Kunne med fordel fikset dusjveggene og toalettrull- holder, dette viste litt mangel på vedlikehold da det var ødelagt/mitt defekt. Ellers fornøyd med rommet.

Meget centralt og nemt at komme til. godt værelse med hvad man har behov for.

Irriterende man skal downloade endnu en app for at kunne tjekke ind på hotellet. Samtidig måtte jeg rykke hotellet for, at de tilkoblede mit telefonnummer til bookingen, så jeg kunne tjekke ind. Simpelthen for dårligt, at de først gør det besværligt at tjekke ind, for de så derefter ikke svarer i en uge, og man skal rykke dem først. Det kan godt gøres bedre. Værelserne var små, men rene og havde det nødvendige.

Flott beliggenhet og rommet var perfekt. Hadde dessverre problemer med Vander app men ble et flott opphold allikevel 😊👍
