Too far away from anything. Staff is not very helpful. Resturant is not offering good choice. Cannot open Window inside the room. If I have another choice. Will not come back this hotel.

Great stay and kids lived the pool. Although I think they could extend the pool swim Times for kids if guests are staying there. Overall we had a nice stay.

Lovely place

Large rooms but lack a set of drawers, plenty of room and a small fridge would be beneficial especially in hot weather. More of the rooms should have a walk in shower there was no accessible rooms left when I booked. Staff were very polite and efficient. The grounds are lovely with some stunning trees, there is nowhere to sit and soak these beautiful views so just by adding a dozen benches right around would give it more stars for me.

Room was nice, bathroom was well equipped. Breakfast was a nice touch, the grounds and location was excellent.

Excellent high-quality hotel, the rooms are five star with the exception of air-conditioning. The only knock on this hotel is they have a very small fans so would rather warm when the temperature 20° at night

There was no air conditioner in the room and there was no fridge in the room to keep insulin and eye drops . Breakfast was good .

Lack of communication about a special event taking place and availability of usual services spoiled our trip . Fewer meals available and the menu was much depleted on Sunday. As we had phoned and asked this was particularly disappointing. Also pea and courgette risotto usually has actual peas not a pea mush reminiscent of canned mushy peas .

Eastwood Hall is a lovely location surrounded by beautiful trees and lawns great views and lovely gardens with excellent staff.Had a great time and a very well prepared breakfast buffet.

Clean location

Great location that feels rural while being next to everything. It’s a very large hotel so a long trek from the car park to reception and then to my room. I ate in the bar and the food was very good as was breakfast the next morning.

Room tired and felt unclean. Bathroom disgusting. Bath coming off the wall. Bottom of bath stained brown. Non-slip mat growing mould. No air con, world’s smallest and least effective vertical fan in room. Would have had more air circulation from a butterfly fart. No water in room or glasses, despite it being the hottest week on record.

Staff were great maybe a bit more of a smile from the bar staff :⁠-⁠) The bed was really comfy no a/c but provided with fans. Nice touch with the room freebies The breakfast was really good quality well cooked as was the evening meal.

We stayed for two nights. We liked the venue. Food choices limited. Pub lunch ok enjoyed. In the no air cooler or condition . Most importantly bath was difficult because we are senior citizens walking shower with support handles would have been very very helpful

Room was great, the only issue was that we had to wait a long time for our lunch which made us late for an event we were attending.

We booked an accessible room as my husband has walking difficulties but is not wheelchair bound. We were very dismayed to find all the bedrooms were at the rear of the property from reception. Our allocated accessible room was nearly 200 yards from there and whilst we were moved to a regular bedroom immediately on entering the bedroom block, it was still the better part of a 150 yards walk back to the entrance. Also there were no disabled parking spaces close to the entrance, although fortunately they did have a drop off point. The bedroom itself was fine, even though the bedroom was firm and it only had 6 hangars in the wardrobe. The bathroom was compact and it was tricky to get in/out of the bath due to its height and the glass panel. I ate in the dining room, but my husband wasn’t feeling too well so, I ordered a cheese salad sandwich for him which came with the salad on the side and a tasteless slice of packet cheese. Although my chicken meal tasted lovely, it was cold the first time and the replacement was only warm. Overall a disappointing stay. The setting is lovely and the location quiet. It might be fine for a conference, or event but not great as a hotel.
