It wasn’t the best stay. The room was set up for 3 people when we had booked for 4, but it was quickly rectified. Although the next morning it took 2 phone calls to reception and 60 minutes to get a 4th towel.
Noise travelled a bit too well-from the people playing midnight football outside our room to the person snoring in the next room.
We were hot (often the case in hotels) and so we took the duvets out of the covers to use the covers as sheets, which worked well but revealed a number of stains on the duvets.
The shower had been dripping all night and then in the morning the control was so stiff that we couldn’t turn it on, so all four of us had a bath. However the water was tepid.
At breakfast, allergen information was available, but only in the foyer and not the restaurant. It was a 42 page PDF list of food and allergens, nothing searchable. It took 15 minutes to read. The other issue was that it didn’t match the food available and didn’t include drinks.
