The A-Rosa in Kitzbuhel is a well maintained, expansive property with good facilities and service, though it is expensive and at least 15-20 walk from the town centre. Pros - Expansive common areas including large bar area with sushi lounge - Excellent spa area with multiple types of sauna, steamroom etc. - Shuttle service to take you to the main ski lift and back - Good size rooms with well appointed bathrooms - Impressive buffet breakfast - Great, friendly service, for example from the concierge to very quickly purchase ski passes - InterSport shop on site made it easy to rent and return ski equipment Cons - The hotel is situated about 15-20mins walk from the town centre and the shuttle service only runs from 8am until 5pm which means that getting to / from dinner in town requires either a walk or a taxi - The rooms have no air conditioning and our room was overly hot. The only option to have a cooler room is to turn off the radiators and open the balcony door meaning it was very difficult to get an appropriate temperature for sleeping - In some areas the service provision is not 5 star - we we left to park our own car with no valet offered Overall we had a lovely stay at the A-Rosa but felt that ~Eur 700-800 per night (including spa access and breakfast buffet) was on the expensive side for the experience we had, particularly given the out-of-town location

We liked, among other, the pool, the food, the gym, the ski shuttle and the room size. Most importantly the staff were wonderful.

Our stay at Arosa was perfection! From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and special. We enjoyed hiking in the area and using the sauna amenities afterward. The Das Kaps restaurant and bar menu made it easy to enjoy dinner on the premises. Would highly recommend!

A-Rosa is an exceptional five-star facility providing comfortable quarters, excellent food, the friendliest staff and service people, and outstanding spa and fitness options. My wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously and we will be back!

It’s a beautiful hotel

It was our first family holiday with our little one. We absolutely loved it. Staff incredibly helpful, kind and supportive. We had the best time! Spa facilities are wonderful. Would have been useful to have a little more local information generally, but always helpful when the question was asked.

Absolutely fantastic and exceeded all of my expectations. Will be back next summer.

Check-in painfully slow, but over our stay reception staff were very helpful. Dislike the fact that the hotel will not, on booking, guarantee a room with a true balcony - some have Juliet balconies Dislike the 15 euro per day parking charge at a hotel where the majority of guests arrive by car. Room. The hotel is approaching 20 years old and is due an upgrade and ongoing maintenance ( curtains unsecured, sink waste outlets dribble when filled. Towels and robes thin and need replacing). Pool/Sauna. Facilities generally good, but areas require a thorough clean ( screen between inner and outer pool and tiles by pool steps). ? Who would pay €215 for a pair of mens swimming shorts at the spa shop. Staff. Friendly, helpful and hard working. Food. Not a fan of buffet meals, but the station managed food is plentiful and good quality. Spoilt for choice. Shame on the customer who took all of the raspberries and cream off a gateau. Overall rating - very good, but could be better.

Hotel was amazing, staff were professional and I would recommend this hotel for those needing 5 star attention. The view of the world cup down hill ski race was a bonus from my bed room.

This is a great hotel with a lovely spa, very friendly staff and great food. The rooms are well appointed with either balconies or terraces.

as a group of friends we enjoyed our stay in A Rosa hotel . food, facilities ,service and spa were all excellent . The only draw back is that there was no real entertainment after dinner . the bar singer(the man) had very bad voice ,he was rather disturbing than entertaining . but in general we loved the place
