The property was absolutely immaculate. All the finishes or top tier the staff or amazing I could not have had a better vacation. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and I had the most amazing time. I absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone that was looking for a resort. This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in.

We visited july 7-13. Had an amazing time. Very friendly staff. Really great food, drinks and shows! Cannot think of one thing i could complain about. Alejandra at the “quiet” but still super fun pool and Samuel at la peninsula went above and beyond every day. Just a perfect vacation. They are great at safety from drying floors to security. I agree with all the great reviews. I give it a 10/10 for sure. Thank you to the beautiful people of Mexico for sharing your beautiful culture, i cant ever bring myself to go anywhere else. Was happy to see most people be generous with tipping. Tip these people, they work hard in the hot sun.

This is our 5th year in a row visiting All inclusive resorts. Riu Pacifico is good property, not to big or small. The service really stoodout to me, the staff is great, polite, attentive and welcoming! We had a great time!

I am a realist and picky so leaving my honest and great review. The place is immaculate and was the cleanest resort we’ve been to. The food was fantastic. You only need to put your name in at one restaurant—the steak house. If you want to eat at the 6pm seating just show up by 5:45 or so to guarantee a spot. If you want the 8pm seating get your name in at 6pm and they give you a beeper. We walked into the other restaurants about 7-8pm and got seated immediately (party of 2). Buffet was amazing—fresh and lots a variety. Lobby coffee shop was great and had lots of desserts too. Lobby bar has better liquor. Pools were very clean but warm as it was July. Beach sand was soft and clean. Water is clear but with brown sand so can’t see the bottom like in Cancun. However we went out on a catamaran and the water was clear and turquoise. We never had a problem getting a beach chair or pool chair. Staff were all pleasant and accommodating. Get the $35 massage at the beach. There are people very politely selling stuff at the beach but they just keep walking by if you don’t want anything. They do not hassle you at all. The only suggestions are 1) to have music in the lobby by the bar—they had a guy playing piano each night and he was boring (sleepy). 2) play Mexican/beach music at the pool not American songs. I mean it’s the beach and Mexico! We would return in a heartbeat.

The gardens and grounds were immaculately kept, the staff were friendly and service was prompt. The rooms are some of the nicest we’ve stayed in. Balcony view of sunsets was spectacular. Plenty of dining options and the cappuccino cafe was a great on-site perk. The larger quiet pool was peaceful and pristine. Always free loungers at the beach and pools in July. Beach had brown sugar sand, nice water and waves. Some vendors will approach but leave you alone if you say no thanks. Fabulous massages available on the beach (not connected with Riu). I can’t comment on the Riu spa or gym as I didn't use them. Live music in the lobby was nice. Sports bar was good with excellent entrees. A la carte dining varied from excellent to very good. Buffet had theme nights and many times we found their meat and fish options to be some of the best we’ve had on a buffet ever. For those with gluten restrictions the buffet had a gluten free station and most of their items in the other stations had the allergy symbols posted for wheat, fish, peanut, egg, dairy etc The Riu app shows the a la carte restaurants and menu items can be filtered by allergy. I had zero issues with cross contamination during my stay.
