Friendly staff

Needs a makeover. Big time.

The hotel staff were efficient and helpful. The room was very quiet but maintenance could have been better. The mattress was saggy in the middle, the safe and hairdryer did not work. The location worked for us. A 10 min walk to Almeda metro station and a similar walk into Cafe's etc in the town. There is also a large mall nearby with lots of food options. A taxi from the airport via an app was €17. As this hotel is just outside central Barcelona the tourist tax is also much lower.

We booked two nonreturnable visits to this hotel far in advance. On the first visit we were given a room on the third floor. The hallway was dirty with stains on the carpet. We opened the door to our room and were greeted by the smell of mold and mildew. There was a large section of damaged wall in the entryway of the room with obvious mold infestation. There was mold around the fire alarm on the ceiling, and mold/mildew in the grout of the shower. We photographed the issues and went downstairs immediately to request a new room. I have asthma and already use 3 medications to keep it under control, so mold/mildew are unsafe for me. A new room was assigned on the top floor and that room was clean and the hallway was much better. The staff member handled the problem immediately, however upon our return two weeks later, we were assigned the SAME ROOM. We thought for sure the problem must have been fixed because no facility would be that irresponsible. We opened the door find it had not been fixed two weeks later and they were still renting the room out! I again took photos and we went down to change rooms. The clerk was visibly concerned by the pictures and that we had encountered this on an earlier trip. Previous staff also gave conflicting info about filling water bottles downstairs with one saying yes but another being rude and suggesting we were wanting free juice (I’m diabetic, so absolutely not). Bed springs poke and beds are hard. We will never stay at a Travelodge again.

Nice friendly staff and good place to stay.

Facilities and amenities were lacklustre, staff was nice enough most of the time. Area felt safe.

Room needed a desperate lick of paint andna good clean. 2 sachets of coffee. Kettle lead no kettle, asked for one twice never tirned up. Breakfast good location for thenstadium thiugh

It was very clean, the staff were so helpful and kind especially with my daughters allergies. Only thing there was no coffee making facilities which were advertised. But perfect otherwise, loved the later checkout compared to other hotels, easy to get to from the airport, 10 minute walk to a huge shopping mall with restaurants. Lockers in the lobby for storing luggage. Great breakfast so much to choose from, better than UK!

Room was fine, but no soap/shampoo in the dispenser in the bathroom and when asked at reception he apologised but said there was none available

My stay at Travelodge Cornella was pleasant. The staff at the front desk were accomidating and nice. The room was clean and welcoming upon arrival.

The staff, a yong woman, was rude, impatient and was not helpful.

Very conveniently located near a major mall so plenty of dining and shopping options, however overall surroundings are not the best.
