Excellent value for money in this hotel. Our room was comfortable with big windows on the street and we had absolutely no noise during the night so the double glaze was really efficient. During this heatwave, having the AC inside the room was fantastic. The room was spacious. The surroundings are super convenient: close to the metro station Mouton Duvernet and lots of nice restaurant options in the area. The staff was super helpful and allowed us to check in earlier which was very convenient. We will definitely again, very convenient place to stay in Paris close to the Montparnasse train station. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not take the options.

Clean facility, clean room. Staff were friendly. Elevator was tiny, barely space for one person and four carry-on suitcases.

A small but comfortable room in a conveniently situated hotel, near a Metro station and with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was at the back of the hotel, so nice and quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again.

Well appointed, clean bedroom & bathroom. On the small side, but ideal for a short break & very convenient for Montparnasse station + metro. Plenty of lively cafes, restaurants & bars in side streets, minutes walk from the hotel.

Old parisian style with no AC but it was clean and comfortable.

Great budget option in a convenient, safe location in Paris. Close to metro, train and bus stops. Not super touristic yet full of bars and restaurants around. Aircon in our room was a blessing. Small room, but sufficient for Paris standards. Very clean!

Paris tends to cost a lot, wherever you go. With Hotel Transcontinental, you get a pretty good package deal. The shower ended up being slightly bigger than I expected. The complimentary breakfast was rather enjoyable, albeit kind of simple (so grab that yogurt). The customer service is top notch. The area is located near a great pizza place and a nice grocery store. If you stay here, you won't regret it.

The Transcontinental is a quaint hotel and is in a relatively quiet area which suited us perfectly. The breakfasts are excellent. The only real downside is the size (tiny) and age (old) of the lift.

Very helpful staff. Hotel was very clean and easy access to transport links. Lovely quiet room meant a good nights sleep ahead of a full days sightseeing.

Stay was brilliant, very clean and quiet hotel, swift check-in and check-out. Very well located a few minutes away from the Metro with a bus stop literally outside the hotel and restaurants close by. Breakfast was ok, could have been a bit better though with freshly cooked items.

This hotel is in a completely pleasant, safe, walkable, primarily residential neighborhood. There are lots of dining, bar, & food resources - like neighborhood bistros open late and Sunday/Monday. My room faced the main street that was busy during the day but very quiet at night for excellent sleeping! Short, flat walks to 2 Metro stops. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I speak only English. Their English is excellent.
