Right opposite the train station. Convenient to leave luggage when you check out or before you check in. Friendly staff and good amenities available if you need a snack or drink out of hours. Rooms was comfy but a little noisy as we were on the first floor and facing the station.

The location was perfect as we were catching an early train the next morning. The room was clean but unfortunately our bedding smelt of cigarette smoke. Not nice.

The noise outside the room woke me up at 5am and the matress was about 10cm thick and moved around as it wasn't attached to the bed and was hot and uncomfortable so it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. There were homeless people sleeping in the doorway and some unsavoury charcters around at night and as a woman travelling alone I did not feel safe.

Nice hotel close to train station. Rooms small but clean. Staff very nice. Restaurants right outside. I liked the pizza one.

Directly across from the train station. Restaurants , traffic and people make it a noisy location, but a very convenient one for train, bus, and tram.

We needed a place near the train station and this was great

I chose this hotel as an overnighter and it's proximity to Bordeaux Gare Central as I had an early train to catch in the morning. There were a couple of restaurants outside of the main entrance, so perfect for a meal without having to search for one in town

cONVENIENT FOR THE STATION AND TOWN CENTRE

Booked at short notice after a flight cancellation. The hotel is situated very conveniently at Gare Saint Jean and is a twenty minute walk to the city centre conveniently passing the Marche de Capuchins on the way. In this instance what I paid did not represent good value for me and I was given an adjoining room separated only a very thin door and it contained a very noisy neighbour.

Stay here for the excellent proximity to the train station. Room was tiny, but clean, and the bed was comfortable. With large laundry carts filling the hallway and all amenities being a la carte, it felt like a hostel. Breakfast featured a range of options with decent quality.

Hotel is perfectly located for the train station , that does mean of course that it can be a little noisy outside. The room was small, and a very tiny bathroom, but all spotlessly clean and tidy. I didn’t like the mattress or pillows much, but I have trouble sleeping anyway so I could be being fussy.

Across from the gare, convenient but kind of seedy around the block.

Staff helpful and friendly. Room small but clean. Water did not drain away from base of shower and built up!

I wanted something close to the railway station since I was leaving on the train in the morning. Hotel Ibis was just a convenient walk across the street.

Very helpful reception staff. Considering the very busy location outside railway station, there was little noise. Tram stops outside were very convenient to get around Bordeaux.
