This was a beautiful hotel. The pool and the property are really nice. The service at the restaurant is not very good. I would avoid that if possible.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Vitor's Village. The property is beautiful and the public areas (reception, restaurant, pool) are all beautiful and well-maintained. Pros: - Beautiful property with lots of pool space. - Close to both Portimao and Ferragudo. - Friendly staff. Cons: - Not accessible. No elevators, most rooms require climbing stairs. - Several missing amenities: pool towels, hair conditioner, dish soap, dish scrub brush. - Room cleaning was not acceptable. The bottom of our shower curtain was mouldy, the toilet paper offered was paper thin, the couch has never been vacuumed (and had a smell), there was nothing to wash the dishes with, etc. - Our bathroom looked nothing like what's pictured in the listing (it was very small). To summarize, the resort is beautiful and safe. Next time we would opt to pay a little more for a nicer room and hope that the cleaning is better.

The breakfast was really good. The property was very well designed with easy access to the pool and common areas. Pool towels would be appreciated.

Several different levels of rooms across 5 3-story buildings. We booked the double room: had 2 twin beds with a small table in-between. The only lamp in the room had about a 40w bulb. There was one overhead light by the door. Room was very very small! There are no elevators. Where you park you had to walk across many sidewalks to get to your building. Breakfast (we booked included) was just OK. One nice thing was that they had a shuttle to town.

Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff. Overall, great value for money.

Been several times and keep going back. Staff are excellent and always welcoming. Hotel areas always kept clean. Pools kept clean and plenty of sun beds. Brilliant value for money. Big bed and hot powerful shower.

Really enjoyed our stay, well worth the trip

Everything is in walking distance including grocery stores and even a McDonalds for those who are easing into adventurous dining

Our sink kept blocking ..it was very noisy we had a walkway at the side of apartment and it was a constant flow of people arriving and departing at all hours especially early ..cleaning staff always outside our window with the trolly banging and no consideration for guests ..the bath taps ran very slow hen water taking ages to fill ..so sadley we felt very disapointed..and day one our towels were soiled

I liked how they cleaned the room every day I stayed with out me asking. Very friendly and helpful with activities around the area and gave great tips for transportation. Will definitely book again. Food and drinks and hospitality was amazing

Lovely surroundings and views. Peaceful but in easy proximity to town facilities despite steep hill.

We’ve stayed here 3 times. The rooms are great, the pools are big and the pool area is cleaned each night. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the brilliant town. The breakfast is very well priced and a good selection. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Property was ok, restaurant was never opened when we tried to go. Staff were okay. Rooms were decent but there were ants everywhere

The hotel is just ok. The major downside is that there is no one that helps bring your bags/luggage to the rooms, which is annoying because the walkway isn’t even smooth so imagine dragging a 50 pound suitcase through the whole hotel on cobblestone. Mad. Then they’re so stingy with the towels. Like please is this a 4 star hotel or budget hotel?? Weird. Anyway I wouldn’t book again.

Nice Hotel but understaffed in the Bar/Restaurant, it is positioned on a Hill so not a great location for those with mobility issues who wanted to go into the Village, easy 5 minute stroll downhill going in but torturous walk back by either available route.

The service in the bar was very poor apparently a constant turnover of staff plus not enough. The location on a hill is not good for anyone with mobility issues who wants to go into the village square.

Very comfortable, spacious. Like a small apartment and the staff was very helpful.

Even in April during the slower season, we appreciated the calm and peace of Vitor's. Great place to be away from the crowds, yet close enough to all the tourist hotspots using our rental vehicle. Lovely villas with central amenities we definitely made use of like the games room and self-serve laundry. Everything is so clean and in excellent condition, there was zero concern with regards to hygiene and care of the property.

This property is 3 stars at BEST. Outdated property, had a weird smell immediately as you walk into the room. Bathroom shower curtain and shower head was dirty and disgusting. Hairdryer did not work, asked for another one and it overheated and sparks started flying. Bed sheet smelled HORRID in one spot and pillows were dirty. You can hear everything, the family below us had kids that would start screaming, running, and pushing around furniture at 6am in the morning. Service is very average. Again, this hotel is a 3 STAR HOTEL if I'm being kind. I rate it 2 stars. Would not recommend to friends or family. Was tricked with the "4 star" rating.
