Stayed here a few times now. Don’t expect this hotel to be like any other Ramada. In the night time the outside of the main entrance is quite dark. To my total embarrassment I walked into the glass door causing a lot of paint to certain areas of my face. Receptionist had mentioned it’s happend a few times because the previous sigh has come off and no one bothered to replace it. I’ve stayed here a few time and know one door is closed and still to my stupidity thought oh second door is opened too. Yes this is my fault but a sign on the door was simple to replace. My first room was right next to the corridor door. There doors have very old closures on them which slam shut. My bed at one point was shaking so much with obvious reasons the room next door were playing very exciting games. Luckily my room was changed. So don’t have high expectations of this place it’s a standard 2/3 star place. Needs a good modernisation upgrade.

Good location for the event we were attending. The hotel was neat and clean. Aircon didn't really work even though I asked at reception if it was working and told it should work when card is put in. Did that and waited few hours , went to sleep woke up and still not working. At least window could open wide and a nice breeze, just meant we had to put up with noisy traffic all night. The staff were friendly on checking in Check out was simply putting card in a box. Room smelt damp and lots dust as it hasn't been used for a while. It did have everything we needed. Bed was clean, mattress terrible and needs replacement as very hard. Good shower with plenty hot water. Mostly fine for one night and right location.

The property was nice and clean. Staff were always on site to help which was good.

All our party enjoyed their stay, liked the location being close to Birmingham with the available easy access. All the staff were polite and professional and nothing was too much trouble. Only downsides, the rooms we had 2/4 were 'tired', in need of refurbishment and room 4 obviously has suffered from past water damage, architraves/bathroom door etc. So on initial arrival the room on presentation had a damp/musty odour. We alleviated this by opening the window to allow fresh air in and then settled in for our stay. Others may not have been so accommodating. That is the reason for the 4 star review

Twin room booked and was put in a disabled room. Which had broken wardrobe handles, dirty walls, beds both were hard a rock with springs sticking in your body. Bathroom facilities very poor. Asked for shsmpoo or conditioner had neither. Room was disgraceful. From the 70s. When I asked why we were put in a disabled old room. No reaction from receptionist. Totally not bothered. Extremely disappointed and let down by Ramada. It was a special stat which was completely ruined and not as much as an apology.

This property is so amazing and honestly has potential to fully push for more. I think they act like they know so every guest needs that special treatment all the time. They should know that other guests are from "Royal Service" background so never judge a book by the cover. I love it and i will definitely book again for front facing room on the 3rd floor. I was in room 316 and its at the back side of the horel...see you again guys. Thanks...😊😄

Our tv in the room wasn’t working. The sink was blocked and when I informed a member of staff in the morning, he advise me to tell the afternoon staff.

Very reasonably priced hotel in good location. Plenty of parking space. Very pleasant staff. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff very friendly and very helpful. Because the air conditioning didn’t work they changed my room straight away. Very pleasant stay and all the staff were amazing. Thank you Juss

Friendly and helpful staff but very dated hotel. Bed was painfully uncomfortable.

The bed was large and spacious, but the rooms were not entirely quiet; one could hear people walking or talking in the hallways.

Rather shabby and run down. Broken toilet in room and reluctantly our room

PERFECT

One of the worst nights sleep that my partner and I have ever had. The mattress was so bad, that we could feel the springs in our back. The wall light fixture was broken. The reception staff looked miserable and didn’t smile. However when their friends turned up they were quite happy to talk with them.

Ok but bathroom sink blocked easily and the tap was not fixed. Comfortable but well used worn room
