This is one of the most intriguing hotels we have encountered. A complex facility with numerous beautiful courtyards. The Zorro show was well-paced and just the right length. Meals were excellent.

Make sure you have mosquito spray, the hotel has beautiful gardens and i don’t think the spray so the mosquitoes are a real problem

Arrived and they had given my room away to somebody else under my name and gave me another room that we barely fit in three people in one bed room was dirty. Staff was rude. Terrible terrible trip.

MOSQUITOS!!!! Just wear bug spray. The town is cute, and this resort is really nice. Great list pool and bar area and just a short walk to the square with lots of options for food. Room is comfortable

Loved the history of the colonial hacienda and the gardens and grounds were lush and peaceful.

Everything was ok.except that during the night was some kids running around and making a lot of noise.

I loved everything about this hotel. This hotel is so much more than a place to stay. It is so full of history and displays of antiques from its Colonial past. Absolutely stunning!

We loved this hotel, great pool, good food, exceptional people. Paul, Fransisco and Vilma went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Zorro show. We walked to the river and saw some cool birds and took in the friendly neighborhood.

The property is a beautiful old building with lots of antiques and details. Our room was great

I was really disappointed with our room. Came into our room I Realize a little water on the ground but not a big deal. When we step out of our room and came back in we realized there was a lot of water on the ground. Went to look for the service desk because this room did not have a phone to call. The Maintence guy came and said it was a internal leak and all he could do is put two towels on the ground. The manager couldn’t even accommodate us for the inconvenience. I told him I got a a toddler and what are we going to do if we wake up and it’s flooded and someone slips and falls especially my toddler didn’t say anything totally disappointment….

Great hotel.

We arrived on easter sunday and the place was booked and very busy. They still managed to get us to our room in good time and we enjoyed an excellent supper. Though we slept well we were awaken by the neighboring roosters. We asked to be moved to another room and they were very accomadating. The next night we slept well and into the quiet morning. It is a pleasant accommodation.

Love the food. The hotel is amazing!

This great atmospheric hotel has large, comfortable rooms mostly set around floral courtyards. There is a warm swimming pool with chairs and a few loungers adjacent to reception and the open sided bar. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend taking their very reasonably priced boat trip which involves being rowed along the river taking in the peacefulness and sights and sounds of the local wildlife. Although we only stayed for two nights I would happily return for a longer stay.

Stunningly beautiful, extremely well maintained. Staff were excellent. One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in. We can’t say enough good things about it

Beautiful place! Great service.

Very nice place.. Right in the middle of town. Has a great transfer system to the Chepe Train. Great grounds.
