Wonderful customer service, big room, added toys for the beach for kids.

Loved our stay at this hotel. First Class.

Very enjoyable and atmospheric stay in an hotel with strong literary connections. The staff were very pleasant and the town itself is quite nice as well.

Bâtisse ancestrale magnifique mais malheureusement les prestations et le service manquent de perfection pour un 5 étoiles et le prix demandé : attente au bar de 45 mn sans être servies, salle de bain très sommaire, madeleines signature en vente à 12 euros plutôt qu’être données, pas de voiturier, de as d’aide pour les valises, pas d’accompagnement à la chambre.

Amazing historic hotel directly on the Sand Beach with walking promonade to cafe and resturants. Easy parking outside hotel with short walk to town centre.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service, including a terrific bartending team. Amazing location right on the beach.

Very nice luxury hotel, famous for the many stays Marcel Proust had here during the early 1900s. Staff are very helpful and breakfast is excellent. Its restaurant isn’t open all 7 days of the week, but it has a nice bar. It is situated right on the beach, with a range of room options both facing the sea or a view on the lovely gardens and town of Cabourg. The colour schemes for some of rooms and corridors are a bit odd but one gets used to them quickly. Recommended for stays of a few days to relax and enjoy the seaside and offerings of Cabourg.

Rooms are huge, loads of great restaurants near by plus great food on site. Found a great kids club just down to the left on the beach that the kids loved. I'll be back.

Loved it! Not only is the property set on the beach, it is essentially the center point of the town - a great little beach town at that. Service was excellent! They went out of their way to arrange transport for us and kept the restaurant open for us so we could eat when we arrived late. Not the most convenient place for Normandy tours but worth the extra trek if you want a bit of beach time. Definitely plan on returning!

This is a lovely hotel, in a great location! Very quiet, well designed, large & luxurious rooms with comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Location was on the water. Town was charming. Looking forward to returning!

A place full of charm, character and history. A unique experience

Everything was First class from the rooms to the staff to the facility and the restaurant. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was on the Normandy coast.

The history.

Incredible place but the hotel is dated and needs to be preserved/renovated. No HVAC and limited staff/services. The Casino was unwelcoming. Really a shame as it has the potential to be amazing and the town is even more charming that Deauville.

We have not booked one night as we were passing thru …but we wish we could have stayed longer. Service was excellent, room fabulous & the town just perfect. We will definitely stay longer next time …
