The hotel is funky and fabulous! The team are extremely friendly and helpful! Only point I’d make is hotels.com are selling stays in the apartments that they shouldn’t be so ended up moved into the main hotel.

Stayed in the loft no2 Air conditioning needed and good Room felt a little tired needed some TLC. Breakfast was good - choose off menu

What a delightful find, full of character, imagination and fun. Staff welcoming. Room very comfortable as was the bed, and the air con most welcome. If anything to pick at, we couldnt finish the breakfast, there was so much. Will definitely be revisting.

Gorgeous apartment,loads of room for the kids! Im not one to complain but id say cleanliness wasn't great. The floors were dirty,my boy walked around in socks and they were that black I had to bin them..! The blinds were pitted in every room and some didnt work properly. My little girl cut herself on her foot slightly for the jagged edge of the bottom of one of the baths. No telly's in the room worked which was a bit of a pain as the kids wanted to chill in bed in the morning and watch TV,so they couldn't. Other than these few things the room was good!

Lovely hotel, very bougie, loved the room, we stayed in the Queen Mary’s loft room, having the double bath was really unique! Staff were very polite and helpful. Negatives, the hotel was cashless and the kitchen was closed so we went out to eat however there is so much choice in the city centre.

We stayed in the apartments, they were beautiful and in a great location, nice and quiet and lovely comfy beds!

The apartment was lovely and well appointed. Convenient location.

Great location. The room was nice, if a little warm, the A/C wasn’t very powerful and our fridge didn’t work. However the room was very clean and had a nice feel to it. The hotel in general had quirky decor which was interesting to look at. The breakfast was ok, but we were disappointed there wasn’t any cereal, pastries and other help yourself items. The staff very very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Room was excellent, however some slight damage to the shutters did spoil the overall appearance of the room a little but not enough to be too concerned.

Great place to stay in Chester

We stayed here for 1 night and it was our first stay in Chester as part of a large group. We received a lovely welcome upon check in and the staff were lovely and attentive and super friendly. The hotel was really clean and maintained to a high standard. The rooms were a good size and nice and modern. If and when we come back, we will definitely be booking here again.

Really central location for visiting and exploring Chester. Nice rooms, helpful staff and nice breakfast. Music does go on till 11 at weekends but it’s turned down around 10

Here’s a polished review you could post: My partner and I recently stayed at Oddfellows Chester when attending Chester Races, and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff were incredibly polite, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. They went above and beyond by allowing us to access our room earlier than expected, which made a huge difference to our day and gave us plenty of time to get ready for the races without feeling rushed. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely focused on making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel itself was lovely, but it was the outstanding service that made our visit memorable. We would highly recommend Oddfellows Chester and will definitely stay again when we’re next visiting Chester.
