The hotel was pretty nice. The staff was ok. The hot tub was so nice!

A very nicely property. A few things to consider when booking- there are no curtains to keep the room darkened. The heating system fan is very loud with no way to lower the fan speed. Since it is thermostat controlled, it cycles off and on every few minutes. If you are a light sleeper- good luck! The morning breakfast is pretty good with multiple choices. The hotel is good for families and sports teams. It was hockey teams this trip. All in all a decent hotel. Just a few things travelers should consider

The hotel itself was wonderful. The children running up and down the halls being loud was not.

Property was nice. Breakfast area was clean and provided lots of options. Pool area was clean. Pull out sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable and clearly had not been opened or cleaned by housekeeping in quite sometime. Couldn’t even use it! Front desk staff was fairly friendly.

The room was clean and had no "smells". I like that it was a suite too. Very reasonably priced for the size of the room.

I stayed at the comfort inn & suites in south bend on the 11th for my daughters birthday & I get up to go to the bathroom at 4 am & the biggest cockroach I’ve ever seen was in the bathroom. Moved us to the next room over after arguing with the desk that wanted to keep us in there until her manager came in. & my daughter was so scared to go to sleep for the rest of the night. It was 4am & an hour away from home so leaving at 4 am wasn’t an option. The situation was handeled so poorly & that hotel is nasty. It was a special day & it was ruined. I have pictures for evidence as well.

This hotel is always clean, comfortable, and reliable. We stay here every time we visit family in South Bend. We like that it is convenient to restaurants and shopping on the south side.

A pre-teen hockey team was at the hotel. Noise was horrible - running and playing hockey in the halls. Parents partying in the lobby while the kids ran wild in the halls. Just a note - Breakfast only goes until 9 a.m. on Sunday, unlike most hotels that go until 10. Many guests were missing breakfast.

This is my “go to” place to stay when I visit family in the South Bend area. It’s clean, comfortable, and quiet. Normally the check-in staff is very friendly, but this time the person who checked us in was rather surly. Breakfast was pretty mediocre.

Wet clean large room. Hot water for showers. Comfortable bed. You could have fresh omelets made to order. Very friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and neat. Had a little trouble with the key cards opening our room but wasn’t a huge deal. Overall a very nice experience.

Only stayed for 1 night. Its a little outdated and wasnt extremely clean. Found a bunch of hair on the floor in the bathroom. Front desk gal was polite but not very personable. Kind of made it seem like it was an inconvenience to get off her chair and off her phone to check me in.
